Question:
I need a rack set up on my 2015 Subaru Outback which will carry 2 kayaks. Each kayak is 92 pounds, is 22 feet long, and 26 inches wide. My understanding is that the factory roof rack is not rated for this load.

The only solution I can recommend for you that will allow you to transport 2 kayaks that weight 92 lbs each would be to go with a Yakima Rack and Roll trailer # Y08106 with the tongue extender # Y08109 which is needed for the length of your kayaks. The roof capacity of your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon isn't high enough for what you are trying to do so I can't recommend anything that would allow you to exceed this figure.
First let's start with a hitch. For that you will want the Draw-Tite part # 75673. Since you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included to the right that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
For trailer wiring you would want the # 118467. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
Then for carriers to hold either of your kayaks I would recommend the Thule DockGrip # TH895.
