Question:

I have a Thule T2 917XTR which is 1.25inch and have been using it on an Infiniti EX35 for 7 years. Im buying a new vehicle which can only be fitted with a 2inch receiver. What sleeveinch can I use to expand the 1.25inch on the rack to fit well on a 2inch receiver. I dont want to extend the length away from the vehicle if at all possible. Thanks.

Since you have the 1-1/4 inch version of the Thule T2 Bike Rack 917XTR you will need to use the Hitch Reducer sleeve part # HT02. This will fit in the 2 inch hitch and will reduce it's size down to a 1-1/4 inch hitch which will allow your rack to be installed in it and won't add much length to the rack (only about 3 inches.

For a locking hitch pin to go along with this you would want the # e98880.
