Question:

I have purchased a 2014 dodge 2500 with the factory rail kit on it. If I remove the existing part will subject part bolt up in its place? I have the companion 5th Wheel I want to use with subject part.

According to my contact at B & W, you can indeed remove the gooseneck portion of your existing tow prep package and install the # BWGNRK1384 Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch you referenced. My contact at B & W tells me the # BWGNRK1384 will bolt right up to your truck, which would allow you to use your Companion 5th Wheel Hitch.

If you'd rather not alter the truck, there's another alternative. You could replace the existing base of your Companion with the # BWRVB3600 that would allow your hitch to mount to the factory pucks in the truck bed. This is a more expensive option, but you wouldn't have to do any wrenching on the truck if you went this route.
