Question:

Hello In the Trailer Wire Diagram the Blue wire is for the electric brakes. The diagram is unclear how to connect the Left to the Right electric brake. On the video, the speaker simply says that the ectric brake doesnt care which wire is ground. But, does the ground wire on the Right have to be the same as the ground wire on the Left brake? Is there such thing as a T connector which will connect as the Blue wire suggests?

Lets begin with the two leads that exit each brake magnet. One lead from each magnet needs to ground to the trailer frame. The brake magnets carry no polarity, so it does not matter which lead is grounded, and which lead is connected to the brake output circuit. Unfortunately, we do not offer a connector such as you describe.

There are quick splice connectors available, but for a lasting, trouble-free connection I recommend soldering the connection and using heat shrink tubing to protect the connection.

The simplest way to wire your brakes would be to split the brake wire coming off of the trailer connector into two legs, one running down each side of the trailer. Join each leg to one lead from each brake magnet.
