Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this 8 Piece, 1/2 inch drive, 12-Point SAE Deep Wall Socket Set. Now this deep wall socket set has the recessed edges, which makes it great for automotive repair, construction, and other jobs. Also, you can see these are a 12-point design socket opening, which is designed to reduce rounding of the fasteners. It is a deep wall design, so it lets you access hard to reach places.

And it is a chrome vanadium alloy steel, which is very strong and durable. It has a nice polished nickel chrome plated finish on it to resist corrosion. And if you notice, the sizes are labeled right on the side here. You can see a pretty large 3/4 inch on this one and all the other ones. Basically, the sizes they come in go from a 1/2 inch, up to a 9/16ths, up to a 5/8ths, up to 11/16ths, then to a 3/4 inch, 13/16ths, 7/8ths, and then a 15/16ths.
