I purchased this lock, read the instructions and installed as instructed. After the first trip with it it went missing and must have loosened and fallen off!
I would not recommend this product or e-trailer’s customer service.

My Rv didn’t come with a spare tire. This is the finishing part for the spare tire setup on my Class C motorhome. Nice inexpensive deterrent when I’m away. Super easy installation, just twist about 4 times and take out the key and replace rubber cap.
Best spare lock I’ve found, all you do is drill a 9/16” hole through your backing plate and insert either end of the lock and use the key to screw it till tight and remove the key. The lock screws into itself...GENIUS! Spare tire and wheel is now safe!

This is a great spare tire lock at a reasonable price. I installed mine today and it worked great. A new spare tire is expensive. This is a great option to protect your investment
Fast shipping and good customer service. I like this lock rather than the old locking lug with key socket. It just seems simpler to use and is equal or greater in security. Would recommend.
Better than using a cable with a padloc k.
Proven lock design, like the best hitch-pin lock systems. And getting them keyed-alike just makes the wheel lock idea even better. The quality machine work and heavy duty lock barrel makes me confident that my spare tires will be safe and secure!

Quality product works great, even here in my coastal corrosive, saltylocation. Two spares, so locks keyed alike was a good option for me.
Peace of mind and easy to install.
Had to get used to getting the locking mechanism in the correct position. But it works good and does what I need it to.
I ordered two locks keyed alike and received two locks that are not keyed alike. These locks are great for spare tires, that is why I ordered them. I was looking to get two keyed alike for my camper spare tires. I will just have to use what I received since we are going camping this weekend.

What I was looking for.
We are headed to Alaska in September and needed a trailer hitch receiver for our 2015 Forester so we could mount a full size tire to have in case we blew a tire. Husband very happy with the quality of the hitch receiver plus the spare tire lock, hitch alignment collar, anti -rattle hitch pin lock, wiring harness and the stabilizing strap. Fast service!
