Rubber Equalizers Absorb Road Shock and Reduce Chucking

Rubber Equalizer Vs Standard Equalizer

Hauling a trailer that's still equipped with standard steel equalizers is bound to produce a less-than-ideal towing experience. This is because those standard equalizers allow the road shock from your trailer to transfer directly to your tow vehicle, resulting in a rough, bumpy ride.

In addition, road shock can put added stress on your trailer's frame, suspension, running gear, and more, all of which can lead to increased maintenance time and cost. It can also cause damage to the contents of your trailer due to constant chucking and jerking. And the last thing you want is for your electronics to be tossed around inside your RV before you set up camp, or for your horse to get jostled around as you bring him home from the show.

These rubber equalizers help to solve those problems. When road shock occurs while hauling your trailer, the rubber inserts absorb and dampen the vibration and bounce, resulting in a less bumpy ride. The inserts also absorb the back-and-forth movement to reduce chucking and jerking so that you don't get thrown around inside your cab.

CRE3000 Rubber Insert

Each of these equalizers also offers up to 3" of up-and-down travel. The more travel your suspension has, the better it is able to compensate for road shock. When you hit a pothole, for example, these equalizers allow your suspension to account for that dip on one side so that the opposite wheels aren't forced to compensate. As a result, you'll get a smoother ride, even when you're driving over uneven campground roads or speed bumps.

Easy Installation

These equalizers directly replace your trailer's factory equalizers, so installation is straightforward. Simply remove the shackle links from your factory equalizer and the shoulder bolt from the frame hanger. Remove the factory equalizer and replace it with the MORryde rubber equalizer.

MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit

You can reuse your existing hardware with these equalizers, but we recommend using MORryde's suspension upgrade kit (sold separately). Factory shackle links wear out pretty quickly and easily, so replacing them with MORryde's thick, heavy-duty shackle links will save you the time and effort of having to frequently replace them. Not to mention you'll get easy-to-grease bolts and long-lasting bronze bushings with the kit for a totally upgraded setup.

  • Upgraded Suspension Parts for 5th Wheel Triple Axle 5200 Pound Axles on 2006 Eclipse Attitude 33aks
Hello Ken. For upgrading your suspension on your 2006 Eclipse Attitude 33aks I recommend starting with the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Triple Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" Long Shackle Straps # MR26ZR. There isn't a data base that I can reference because there isn't an industry standard when they are putting the 5th wheels together, with that being said you are going to want to double check the measurements on your current shackle straps that they are 3 1/8" from center hole to center...

  • Recommended Equalizer Upgrade for a Triple Axle Trailer
Hey Zack I don't have a database that shows me what wheel base your 2016 Genesis Supreme Toy Hauler has but it's pretty easy to find out. You'll just want to measure from the center of one of the wheels to the center of the next wheel. I do have a couple of equalizer sets that will be a solid upgrade though. The first one works with trailer's that have a 33" wheelbase. It is the MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers for Triple Axle Trailers item # MR59ZR. The second one works...

  • Replacement Leaf Springs, Equalizers, and Wet Bolt Kit for a Triple Axle Trailer
Hey Jeremy. I have all of the parts you'll need but I am going to need you to take a couple of measurements. There's no database that shows me what parts you have on your toy hauler. To replace your springs, I'll need you to jack up one side of the trailer(or both) and get the bolt hole to bolt measurement off of one of your leaf springs. They tend to stretch out over years of use and this is the only accurate way, other than a part number, to find out what size you need. I'll also need...

Hey Larry, to pick out the correct MORryde CRE3000 kit we just need to know what the wheelbase of your 2025 Alliance Delta 252RL is. If it's 33 inch you'd want part # MR39ZR, if its 42 inch # MR4AR, or if its 33 inch MR59ZR. If you are unsure what the wheelbase it just measure between the hub cap centers.

  • MORryde Replacement For Lippert Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers LC279689
Hi Alan! The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers LC279689 was for 35" axle spacing and the MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers # MR59ZR is for 33" axle spacing, so it would not be the one I recommend. The MORryde Rubber Equalizers # MR39ZR is for 35" axle spacing and will match the size of the equalizers from the Equa-Flex you have much better. It is the better choice. I have a comparison of all three included as well. What are you installing this on?

  • Replacement Equalizers and Shackle Straps for 2007 Keystone Raptor 3712
Thank you for all of that excellent information and photos! To replace the front equalizer you need the Curved Equalizer # TREQ104 and then for the rear equalizer you need the Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs # TREQ105. To replace your 2-3/4" long shackle straps use part # TRSL275. While you're replacing everything it would be work swapping out your bolts as well. To do this you need a 9/16" diameter bolt that's 3" long like the Redline # 126B2. If you're looking to do an...

For your 2017 Keystone Raptor 398TS, I recommend checking out the: -MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers for Triple Axle Trailers w/ 33" Wheelbase # MR59ZR. These equalizers are designed to work with triple axle trailers with a 33" wheelbase and have up to an 8K axle capacity, like your Keystone Raptor. • Upgraded Equalizer and Wet Bolt Kit Options For a 2006 Keystone Raptor 3612 5TH Wheel Toy Hauler
It appears that your 2006 Keystone Raptor 3612 5th Wheel Toy Hauler has an axle spacing of 33" and uses the 5-3/4" wide short equalizer. I do recommend confirming this as if the suspension has been modified in the last 16 years by a previous owner you will need to know this to ensure proper fitment. • Are The CRE3000 Equalizers MR39ZR The Same As The CRE3000 Currently On My 5th Wheel?
The CRE3000 equalizers # MR39ZR that you see on our site will be the same as the CRE3000 equalizers that came on your 2016 Keystone Fuzion 422. The CRE3000 are a fairly common stock equalizer, especially on larger triple axle 5th wheels like yours. That said, If the current equalizer is stock from 2016, it may be time to replace them anyway. Generally they will be good for a few years or about 45,000 miles, but over time the rubber inserts can degrade. A new set of equalizers will likely...

Since your 2016 Forest River Vengeance Model 39R12 has 33" axle spacing and triple axles the # MR59ZR will likely work just fine for you, but you will need to take a few measurements first. The first measurement is from the bolt hole in the rear frame hanger to the front frame hanger, you will need to have a measurement of at least 91-7/8" for this system to work correctly. The second measurement is from the frame to the bolt hole in your hangers. If your hangers are at least 4-1/4"...

  • Suggested Equalizer Upgrade Kit for Triple 8,000 Pound Axles with 33 Inches of Spacing
As the Dexter # K71-657-00 is rated for 35 inches of axle spacing, I do not suggest using it. However, we do have a MORryde system that will work with your spacing. The MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers for Triple Axle Trailers w/ 33" Wheelbase - 8K # MR59ZR is specifically designed to be used with 33 inches of axle spacing and 8,000 pound axles. • Are MORryde Equalizers MR59ZR Longer Lasting Than Lippert Equa-Flex
The answer is yes, rather than the Equa-Flex, the longer-lasting and better quality is the MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers for Triple Axle Trailers w/ 33" Wheelbase # MR59ZR. The rubber on the MORryde # MR59ZR won't last forever, but on average, MORryde says you will get about seven years until the rubber wears down and the equalizers need replacing. So for a higher quality, longer lasting equalizer, it's a smart idea to switch to the MORryde.

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. The wheelbase measurement is not always the best way to determine the correct replacement equalizer.
