  • Recommended 7-Way to 6-Pole Flat Tow Trailer Connector That Works w/a Charge Line
Hey Brian. You're going to need the Roadmaster Coiled Tow Bar Power Cord - 7-Way to 6-Way item # RM88BQ, which is wired to work with a charge line like the Roadmaster item # RM-156-25. This connector carries the charge line signal from the 1 o'clock terminal on your motorhome's 7-way to the center pin on your towed vehicle's 6-way connector. I attached a couple of diagrams below so you can make sure the charge lines are setup correctly to work with the Roadmaster item # RM88BQ. You'll...

  • 6-Way Extension Harness To Connect Vehicles For Flat Towing
We do have the Hopkins Heavy-Duty Trailer Coiled Extension # HM47055 that is also 8' long when stretched like the Hopkins 6-Way Connector with Jacketed Cable # H20036 that you found. The coiled cable will help to prevent the excess cord from dragging on the ground. If you prefer the straight cable you will simply need to attach the other 6-Pole, Round Pin, Trailer Wiring Connector # PK11604 on the end of the Hopkins cable. I have included a video linked below that will walk you through...

  • Coiled Flex Umbilical Cable to Join 7-way on RV to 6-Way on Flat Towed Vehicle
Hopkins offers a flex cable, part # HM47053 that sounds exactly like what you need. On one end, it has the 7-way plug that's compatible with your RV, and a 6-way plug on the other that would plug into your towed vehicle. I'll link you to some of our help articles that contain additional information about flat towing.

  • How To Use 7 Way RV Connector To Power Lights And Charge Battery On Towed Vehicle
I highly recommend installing Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Adapter # HM48470. This replaces your RV's 7 way and gives you a 7 way AND 4 way flat connection. Then you can hook upMagnetic Tow Lights - Red LEDs - 4-Way Flat Connectors - 20' Long Harness # PE26UR directly to the 4 way flat provided on the adapter. These tow lights have a 20 foot long wiring harness; use 48" Long 4-Pole # HM47115 if you need 4 more feet of wiring. For the charge line going to the towed vehicle's battery, you...

  • How To Wire A Battery Charger From A Motorhome To A Towed Vehicle
It sounds like you are trying to keep your Jeep Wrangler's battery charged while being towed by your motorhome. The most common way to do this is by using Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 which connects to the 12V hot pin on your RV's 7 way connector. If your 7 way does not have a 12V pin then you will also need to use Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75 which connects to the RV's battery then connects to the 7 way to provide 12V....

  • Flat Tow Set-Up For 2015 Fiat 500
We can help you with this, I have attached a couple short help articles that provide an explanation of the needed parts and their function that you will hopefully find of value. You are looking at five primary components for a safe flat towing setup. These are (1) Base Plates that mount to the front of your 2015 Fiat 500 and provide the mounting point between the car and the motorhome for the (2) Tow Bar. You will also need (3) Safety Cables in case a failure of the Tow Bar occurs, this...

  • Can 12 Volt Circuit on Hopkins Trailer Connector Adapter HM47053 be Used to Charge Toad Battery
Yes! You can provide a maintenance charge to the toad's battery through terminal A (the 12 volt circuit) using Hopkins Endurance Flex-Coil Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47053. You would just need to attach one end of a wire, # 12-1-1 (sold by the foot), to the back of the 6-Way on the toad and the other end to the positive terminal on the toad batter.

  • Solution for 7-Way to 6-Way Adapter where Vehicle Has Center Pin as 12 Volt Power
They do not make a 7-way to 6-way adapter like the part # HM47053 that has the center pin as the 12 volt like you are wanting so your best option will be to swap the wires on the 6-way on the front of your Jeep so that you can use this one.

  • Can 4-Way on 2019 Jeep Wrangler Be Replaced With 6-Way for Flat Towing
Yes, you can replace the existing 4-way with a 6-way socket like the RoadMaster 6-Wire Trailer Connector - Vehicle End # RM-910030-7. If you need the 6-way to 7-way then you can use the # HM47053. If you need the diode kit with everything included then you can use the # RM-15267. I have attached some review and installation videos along with a diagram showing how to wire the 6-way for your reference.

  • Parts Needed to Fabricate Coiled 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Extension Cable
We do offer various lengths of 7-way RV-style trailer wiring extensions that are shown on the linked page. These all have a vehicle socket on one end and a trailer plug on the other, such as with part # TLW6048 from TorkLift. None of these extensions has a coiled-type cord as found on adapters like # HM47053. However, I do have a solution for you, which is to use one of the available lengths of the WesBarg RV-style coiled cable to fabricate your cord. We offer their 6-foot # WG54006-043...

If you were asking about this setup being compatible with the Curt Echo # C51180 that you were looking at then the answer is yes to that as well.

If you wanted an exact Roadmaster replacement you'll want to use the Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7. These include solid adapters like # HM47570 as well as cabled types like # HM47053 and # HM47083. The Hopkins Endurance Flex-Coil Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Nite-Glow # HM47053 does not have a center pin on the 7-way connector since the 6-pin connector does not have a pin for the reverse lights. Since the pin would go to nothing they leave the pin out. It will not affect the use of this adapter.
