What is the Diameter of the Hopkins Endurance Flex-Coil Trailer Connector Adapter HM47053
Published 10/23/2012 >
Question:
My motorhome accepts a 7-Pole plug with a diameter of 1.60. At Camping World, I recently purchased wiring that had a 7-Pole plug which, I later learned, had a diameter of 1.67inch and was too large to fit into the motorhome receptacle. Please advise the diameter of the plug on the Hopkins HM47053.

I pulled a Hopkins Endurance Flex-Coil Trailer Connector # HM47053 to measure it and found that if you measure the diameter of just the round portion it measures 1.60 inches, but if you include the raised section built into the connector so that it installs correctly it measures 1.67 inches. Check out the video I attached that shows this measurement.
