This will save the expense and hassle of replacing your entire fan or vent assembly when those are working properly. So, if a fallen limb, weather, or low clearance issue has damaged your cover, this is a perfect solution. It operates the same because it is the same.It's a perfect size to fit your 14 x 14 vent or fan. The bracket is designed to line up perfectly with your Fan-Tastic vent arm. Just like on your old one, it's going to have that same bubble design to keep the water from pooling on top, and also it has that over-lip design.
That way, the elements don't get up underneath and inside. The new one is a direct replacement. The first thing we can do is take off the protective cover. Now, it doesn't come with any hardware, but one thing our customers have noted on our website is that we can easily reuse our old hardware.The first thing we want to do is line our guide bracket opening up here with the arm.
So, you have to turn it an angle and make sure that it can easily slide. Once it's in place, we can have somebody run inside and lower down the arm, and I'm going to help guide it down. That way we can line up the hinge. Then with it all the way down, we'll want to line up our hinge, and then we can reinstall our old hardware. Now, note that the larger holes are not used.Perfect.
