If you want your front end to stay clean when you’re not towing, this base plate kit keeps everything looking stock. The concealed main body sits out of sight behind the bumper, and the removable drawbars come off quickly when you’re done towing. The twist-lock attachment makes connecting and disconnecting fast and simple. Each arm slides into place, twists to lock, and secures with a pin—no tools or complicated hardware to mess with. It’s an easy setup that works smoothly whether you’re hitching up alone or guiding someone through it.
This base plate kit is made from precisely welded steel and bolts directly to the chassis with no welding required. The design spreads towing forces evenly across the frame so your suspension doesn’t take extra stress. It’s physically tested to the vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) for dependable performance mile after mile.
The steel body is co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating and finished with a high-gloss black powder coat. Together, these layers guard against corrosion, road debris, and weather exposure so the base plate stays solid and good-looking over time.
Installation is simple—just bolt it on using the supplied hardware; no welding is needed. The kit includes everything required to mount securely to your vehicle’s chassis. This is not the first time I have purchased from ETrailer, but by far the best experience yet. I was treading in uncharted waters and decided to call, i happened to get Paula S. And she was able to educate me on the subject at hand. She also made sure I was ordering all the right parts for the task at hand. I received the two boxes of parts and assembled everything on the vehicle and noticed i was missing something so I called back and talked to Ashley. She assured me that Paula did order the missing part and that it would be here the next day. (Delayed due to holiday) You can sure tell both ladies love their jobs and liked taking care of us customers. I will always try to deal with them when I need something towing related.
Custom fit, everything went together smoothly. I'm ready to haul my Ford ranger behind my motor home.
Jaime was very helpful in getting the right baseplate for my Jeep Cherokee and in retuning the wrong item which I ordered myself.
The baseplate installed easily and will be used for the first time next week. Also, the curt base plate did not require any trimming whatsoever of the plastics on the front of the car.

Not impressed by the durability/sturdiness of this product. The Blue Ox version is much beefier. Very concerned that these might fail. I will need to return these.

Depending on the kit that you have already installed, these should be just as sturdy or durable as the Blue Ox version and should fit well on your set up. However, if you are uncomfortable with the quality of these arms, I am happy to set up a return for you. We prioritize safety and comfort while selling and using the products on our site. these fit a 2022 ford bronco. very handy. however, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!! they only work with the Curt Rambler tow bar. you HAVE to remove the final connection knuckle from the tow bar and bolt these direct to the tow bar. 60 miles into my first tow, one of the pins fell out of the unit, which nearly caused a huge wreck! I replaced the pins with hardened Grade Bolts with nylock nuts.. the pins and keepers will never be on my unit again!
The lynch pins on these are not secure. The ring easily slides over the lug with any force of distraction and I will not trust my towed vehicle to them. I will have to search for a better locking pin option. Not worth the $XXX. I have a 2022 bronco. Your website wasn’t clear if they specifically fit mine, but after hearing from others on a motorhome towing Facebook group I went ahead and purchased. These adapter do in fact fit. The person I heard from though told me how bad the lynch pin was (as seen in my video) and he specifically uses a bolt instead of the included lynch pin. I don’t know how I am going to solve this issue yet. I think using a bolt would take too long to hook up and detach though

Great, thank you for confirming that it does fit with your 2022 Ford Bronco with Ford Performance Heavy Duty Modular Bumper. I have done some research and found that I do not have a lynch or snapper pin that will fit the diameter of the hole in the base plate tab.
