Installation was great, directions were clear and easy to follow, and first tow of about 1,000 miles was fine.
We reached out to our Elliott Brand rep for assistance with getting us a hitch for our unit and etrailer & Curt were mentioned top-of-mind! The team was helpful in finding a solution for our unit with it's custom upgrades and the hitch was still plug and play! I couldn't have dreamt it up any better myself!
Hitch is very sturdy and hardware is high quality grade 8.
If you don't have a mag-drill this will be very hard to drill (6) 3/4" holes up-side down on your back.
2025 Ram 4500 did not have holes in the frame rails to receive the hitch.
I got it installed myself in 2 hrs (with the magnetic drill). Fits great and will do the job.
It was the exact hitch at a great price.
The bolts that came with the receiver stripped while torquing them to the recommended 195ft/lb had to cut them off as they wouldn’t thread back off. Real pita and put me back with work. Would be nice if they came with a quality drill bit to drill the holes in the frame. The hitch wobbles excessively in the 2-1/2 tube, would be nice if it were a tighter fit.

Extremely beefy trailer hitch. Easy to install, especially with no bed on the truck. The two rear rivets on the Ram frame rail are time consuming to drill out. Clears the rear 52 gallon fuel tank with no problems. It should be noted that the holes where the safety chains would hook are very beefy as well so small chain hooks will not work. Shackles will solve that proble and be more secure at the same time. I'm very happy with my purchas of this hitch and etrailer.com did a great job helping me find the correct hitch and shipping it out fast.

I was prompted to leave this review a couple times so here goes: Fast shipping, so far so good. Check back in a year, see if this thing is rusted out or still solid.
This is and always has been a superior product for my use. This hitch is ultimately the best choice to put on our Semi Trucks. It gives me the ability to haul more freight. Now I can haul any reciever hitch or pintle hook load along with my standard 5th wheel loads.

The product came complete, but the shipping condition the box was subpar. The box from e-trailer came riddled with holes and tears. I thought the product was missing items until I checked. Minor dings on the product from the rough condition it was transported but still arrived on time and whole at least.
Easy to do business. Box was all broken apart on arrival. Trying to confirm that all the parts were inside.
Came earlier than expected. Fit my 01 gmc 3500 cab and chassis great. Easy install. Found it cheaper here than anywhere else. etrailer is always the first place I look when I need just bout anything for my truck or rv.

Great product, great quality, comes with all mounting hardware. Free shipping and was delivered just two days after ordering. Only complaint is that it’s advertised to only have to drill out the rivets in the back of the frame but on my truck (2022 ram 4500) you have to drill every hole. Also says you need a 25/32” drill bit which to me is too big, I used a 5/8” and the hole is the perfect sizeOther than that it was easy to install as long as you have the right tools. I order all my hitches and related products from etrailer and will continue to do so.

Perfect for a 24 Ram 3500 cab and chassis went in easy. The only thing I had to do is go get a 3/4 inch flat washer because one of them was for a 5/8 other than that great product

We replaced our original RV hitch with this one because the original one bent due to pressure from our spare tire holder. This hitch is very heavy duty and has been working well for nearly a year. Highly recommended!
Hitch was installed on a 2015 Chevrolet 3500 with dual fuel tanks.
This hitch fit behind the fuel tank skid plate mounting bolts without relocating the skid plate mounts. The middle bolt lined up over the crossmember requiring a factory rivet to be drilled out, but the hitch is then mounted to two layers of frame
The hitch itself is very well made, the bolt flange is true to the truck frame, good mounting hardware included. it has a flat bedliner type finish on it.
I purchased this hitch for my 2022 Ram 5500. The hitch arrived lightning fast and installation was very simple. The hitch arrived with all the necessary Grade 8 bolts and the entire installation took less than 30 minutes. I did have to drill two holes but that was no issue and it was probably due to the fact that I have a cab and chassis model. The hitch is nice and square and tows well. After a trip from Texas to Washington state all the hitch bolts are still tight and the hitch is still nice and square and the finish looks resilient.
