Question:

Hello, I see the main difference between these 2 hitches is the 2inch vs. 2 1/2inch receiver tube. I was able to find a drawing showing all measurements of the 15800 on your site but have been unsuccessful in finding a drawing for the 15400. Is it possible to get one so I can confirm fitment on my application? Vehicle is 2008 Chevrolet 3500HD but has a custom bed on it so I need to confirm that everything is the same except for receiver size. Thanks for your help!!!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15400 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15800 are the exact same trailer hitch save for one has a 2" receiver tube opening and the other a 2-1/2" receiver tube opening. The dimensional drawing that I have attached for you is accurate for both trailer hitch receivers. They will both line up with the frame on a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Cab and Chassis but you will need to make sure the receiver tube opening does not interfere with the custom bed.
