What is the distance down from where it mounts to where the receiver goes?

I went to our warehouse and took a couple of measurements of the part # C15800.
I have attached a photo of the trailer hitch and it has the dimensions noted. It measures 7 inches from the mounting lip to the top of the receiver opening and 9-1/2 inches to the bottom. This is a Class V hitch and has a 2-1/2 inch receiver opening.
