  • 2017 Ram 1500 Utility Rails And Rambox Compatibility With Topline 2 Bike Carrier For Truck Bed
  • For your 2017 Ram 1500 with Rambox and Utility Rails, the Topline 2 Bike Carrier Truck Bed Mounted Expandable Bike Rack # UG2500 may fit. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said that they haven't tested it on your model but if the clamp can fit, it will work fine. The measurements of the clamp are 4 inches tall by 2-1/2 inches wide. I recommend measuring from just above the bed rail where the top of the clamp would be to your Utility Rails to see if you have the 4 inches to secure...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation to Carry Five Bikes in the Bed of a Utility Trailer
  • To transport the 5 bikes, you could use 5 of the Fork Mount Bike Carrier Block - Thule Low Riders, # TH821, and attach them to the bed of your trailer. I have included a link to the installation details below. To secure the bikes to the rack and/or trailer, I recommend adding a cable lock like # CAB-10.

  • Recommend Tailgate Step Compatible With Tonneau Cover on 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat
  • Since the Topline Tailgate Step # TS2000-01 mounts directly to the top edge of the tailgate, more than likely it will interfere with the tonneau cover on your 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat. I would recommend going with the Westin Fold-Up Bed Ladder, # 10-3000, as it does not have a bracket that needs to be mounted on the top of the tail gate. The mounting bracket on the Topline step could cause fit issues with the tonneau cover. Checkout the short video I produced showing the Topline Tailgate...

  • Truck bed Bike Rack Recommendation for a Truck with Tonneau Cover Mounting Rails
  • The rails for a tonneau cover extend too far out for the brackets on the Topline bike rack, # UG2500, to safely attach. What I recommend that will not require any drilling into the bed or modification is the Thule Insta-Gator # TH501. This rack secures by anchors that mount in the tail gate hinge. Take a look at the video and isntructions I have linked.

  • How Can Two Bikes With Different Angle Crossbars Attach With the Topline Truck Bed Bike Rack #UG2500
  • The clamp at the end of the bar that connects to your truck bed will swivel to secure your bike at the cross bar, but the clamps on the Add-A-Bike adapter do not swivel or rotate to connect to angled crossbars on your Electra Townie bikes. Instead, you will want to connect the adapter to the seat posts since they should be at the same or very similar angles. I have attached a photo showing you two bikes connected with the adapter at the seat posts.

  • Bike Adapter Bar Recommendation for Hauling Beach Cruisers with Topline 2 Bike Carrier # UG2500
  • There is a way to transport your beach cruisers with this Topline 2 Bike Carrier, part # UG2500, but I would not recommend attaching it to the down tube of your bike. I would recommend you use a Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar, part # Y02531, to provide you with an attachment point for the # UG2500. I attached a review video for this product for you to check out as well as installation instructions. You will want to measure the distance from your seat post to your handlebars, and as...

  • Will the Topline Fold Down Truck Bed Expander Fit on a 2013 Toyota Tacoma
  • Yes, the Topline Fold Down Truck Bed Expander, # BX4004-02, will fit your 2013 Toyota Tacoma. In fact, we had a customer install this on a 2013 Tacoma, so I attached his install photos that he submitted for you to check out. I have also attached an installation video that we made on a GMC Sierra for you to check out. It will show how to install the bed expander. This item is also available in anodized silver as part # BX4004-01.

  • Will a Bed Extender Fit a Ford Explorer Sport Trac with a Bed Liner
  • The Topline Bed Extender, # BX4004-02, will fit if you have a bed liner. However, you may find that you will have to trim the bed liner on some vehicles. Since every vehicle and bed liner combination is different, I cannot say for certain if you will need to trim or not. On an Explorer Sport Trac, you will need to measure the width of the bed where the extender will fit. If it is 48 inches or greater in width, the extender will fit. We also have the Topline extender with an anodized...

  • Will the Topline 2 Bike Truck Bed Rack Work with a Clamp on Tonneau Cover Without Damaging Rails
  • The Topline 2 Bike Carrier, # UG2500-4, is designed to clamp around the bed side rail and would most likely not work with a clamp on style tonneau cover, like the LiteRider Roll-Up Tonneau Cover by Access, # 834532001088. It will depend on the style of clamp on rail that your tonneau uses. I attached a photo showing the style of clamp on rail that the LiteRider Roll-Up tonneau uses, see link. Another option for carrying bikes in the bed of your truck would be the Softride Tailgate Pad...

  • Best Way to Carry 4 Bikes with a Honda Ridgeline
  • The Thule Tailgate pad part # TH823 has been confirmed to fit the tailgate of your 2008 Honda Ridgeline, but it can only carry up to 2 bikes. Your best option though would be to install a hitch and go with a hitch mounted bike rack though as the # UG2500-4 that you referenced has not been confirmed to fit your vehicle. For a hitch you would want the Draw Tite Hitch part # 75280. I attached an install video as well. The most popular 4 bike rack we offer that would work well on the...

  • Will the Fold Down Truck Bed Expander # BX4004-02 Fit a Ford F-150 Platinum
  • The Fold Down Truck Bed Expander # BX4004-02 is a universal fit type of item and it can be used with your Ford F-150 Platinum. As far as the installation goes it might be something you can do yourself. I have linked a video showing the features and an example installation so you can determine if it is something you can do yourself. Otherwise any trusted mechanic could perform the installation, I'm sure, for a nominal fee.

  • Truck Bed Bike Rack Recommendations for a Subaru Baja
  • The Topline bike carrier, # UG2500, could potentially work in a Subaru Baja bed. Take a look at the video I have linked. If the Baja has a lip like on a regular truck bed to attach the hardware, you can use this rack. Another possible option is the Thule Insta-Gator, # TH501. It secures in the gap between the tailgate and bed and holds 2 bikes. I have included links to the instructions and a video for you. I have also included a link to all truck bed style bike racks.

  • How to Prevent Theft of the Topline Bed Extender # BX4004-02
  • What you would do to deter theft of the bed extender # BX4004-02 is to use security type of hardware. Something that requires an uncommon specialty tool to install/remove. That would secure the mounts that attach to the tailgate. To secure the extender to the mounts you would have to replace the pins that hold the extender on. Something like # 7692 or a similar lock could work. Or something like the Toylok # LC337120 is another option. It would also be good for securing other items stored...

  • We do have some truck bed mounted bike racks that will work with your 2010 Toyota Tacoma with rail track system, but the Topline system will not fit because direct access to the bed rails is needed to secure the clamps. For in bed 4 bike transport you could use four of the Yakima BlockHead Single Bike Truck Bed Mounted Racks, item # Y01117. Another option for your truck would be a hitch mounted bike rack like the Thule Parkway 4 Bike Hitch Mounted Folding Rack, item # TH956. If you...

  • Installing Top Line Bed Extender # BX4004-02 on 2010 Dodge Dakota with Plastic Bed Liner
  • The Topline Bed Extender you referenced, part # BX4004-02 is width-adjustable and will indeed fit your 2010 Dodge Dakota if the plastic liner you refer to covers a steel tailgate. You would need to drill through the liner to attach the bed extender, but the liner can remain in place. I have provided a photo showing the extender mounted to a tailgate that has the plastic liner.

  • The Topline Fold Down Truck Bed Extender, part # BX4004-02, is a universal-fit item, and will adjust to fit truck beds of differing widths. The bed extender when not extended and fully retracted measures 48 inches in overall width. You will need to check on your tailgate if you will have room to attach the mounting hardware. I do not have any experience with it fitting on a 1965 Ford Ranchero, but to try and help you see if it will fit to your tailgate, I pulled the bed extender from...

  • Will Truck Bed Bike Rack UG2500-4 Fit a Truck with a Camper Shell
  • On the clamp that attaches to the bed rail, there is very little space. If the lip from the Leer cap is too thick, the clamp will not be able to mount correctly. You can see a better picture of the clamp on part # UG2500 to give you a better idea of the space available. The short arms measure 9 inches from the inside of one clamp to the inside of the other clamp. On the long arm, this measurement is 18 inches. • Truck Bed Bike Carrier Setup for 5 Bikes in 2018 Ford F150
  • The Topline # UG2500 frame-mount truck bed bike rack is a perfect option for transporting bikes in a pickup bed without having to remove the bikes' front wheels as with fork-mount carriers like Hollywood Racks # HRT970 and Yakima # Y01117. Since one Topline cannot be configured for 5 bikes (up to 4 only) your idea of using two carriers, one for 3-bikes and one for 2-bikes, is absolutely the way to go. You will then want to order items # UG2500 and # UG2500-3. If for example two of...

  • Will Truck Bed Bike Rack UG2500 Work on a Toyota Tacoma with a Bed Liner
  • The truck bed bike rack system # UG2500 is installed by clamping directly to the top of the truck bed side wall. If the bed liner on your Tacoma covers the bed rail, you would need to cut the 3 inch diameter hole for installation using a hole saw, which can be purchased at any hardware store. To get a better idea of whether the bike rack will work on your application, I recommend taking a look a the close up pictures on the product page, which show the mounting style on trucks with bed...

  • Truck Bed Bike Rack for a Dodge Ram 1500 with BakFlip Tonneau Cover
  • The Topline bike rack # UG2500-4 needs to be able to clamp to the bed side so it is unlikely that you will be able to mount it due to the rails that the BakFlip tonneau cover uses. You can see what the bike rack clamp looks like in the picture I have included. Since you will need to have the cover open to carry bikes in the truck bed anyway I recommend a Softride Shuttle pad, # SR26457. This will allow you to carry the bikes and protect the tailgate. • How to Plug Up a Hole Cut in a Bed Liner to Install the Topline Truck Bed Bike Rack # UG2500
  • What you can do first is use a hole saw to drill the hole out of the bed liner. Using a hole saw will provide a nice round hole that will be easier to plug. Make sure the edges are smoothed down with some sand paper. Then you can get a grommet of some kind at a hardware store to plug up the hole when the bike rack is not in use.

On the Truck Bed 3 Bike Carrier - Topline - Expandable, # UG2500-3, side to side movement will be limited as the arms are rigid. The clamps do allow for some up and down movement which will reduce the stress on the aluminum arms and so the bikes can move with the bed floor as you drive. The arms are sturdy and it would take a lot of torque, more than a person can produce without tools or machines, to bend or break...
