RV Covers for Travel Trailers with Passenger Side Access
Stay buttoned up yet still get inside with passenger side access, so you don't have to pull off your travel trailer cover to reach the entry door. For a proper fit, measure the body length to the furthest point at the rear, including the bumper and spare tire, and do not measure the tongue.
Plan a little extra time the first install. Unroll the cover on the ground to confirm orientation, then pull it over the roof. Pad gutter outlets and other protrusions; tennis balls or zip ties can help keep guards in place and reduce snagging so zippers on the passenger side work smoothly. Use the cinch straps to secure and reduce movement in wind.
Measure the body length to the furthest point at the rear, including the bumper and spare tire, but not the tongue. If you have a single AC unit, add a foot to your measurement. Make sure your measurement falls within the cover's stated range, especially on V-nose styles. A size that's too large can be hard to cinch and may catch wind.
Choose a size you can cinch down snugly to reduce billowing. Smooth or pad stress points, including gutter spouts and even rounded AC housings. If material feels very thin, take extra care during install and add protection at contact points. On trailers with a rounded front, expect some extra material at the top front and secure it neatly.
Yes, look for zipper panels on the passenger side. Some have passenger-side zipper entry at both the front and rear to reach the door without removing the cover. Check the zipper locations against your door placement before ordering. If your door sits behind a gutter spout, be ready to pad that spot so zippers can move freely.
