Choose jackknife styles with wall-hugger designs to sit right against the wall, and note some versions mount on an existing base while others use legs or a kickboard. Modular sections make getting through narrow doors easier. Measure upright depth and the bed extension, and plan front support if the piece is deeper than your slide.
