Swapping out cabin lighting is straightforward with 12V RV interior lights from Command Electronics. You'll find LED fixtures that match originals and install easily, and some use standard white and black wires for simple RV connections. For a precise replacement, measure your light's diameter and mounting hole pattern—especially on puck lights—and choose warm white when that softer glow is what you want.
Often you'll replace the entire fixture. A lens was only available with the complete light in a similar situation, and LED strips were not replaceable. To remove a dome fixture, pull the lenses up and away to access the mounting holes. If your cover is damaged, check if your existing cover can be reused on the new body in a pinch.
Measure the outer diameter and the cutout, then match the screw pattern and color temp you want. A photo and the diameter called out the right fit in a similar case. Warm white was requested and matched by sizing the face to around 4-1/4 to 4-1/2 inches. If your old light used four screws, count and match. If the new light is smaller than the hole, add a plate to cover the gap.
Models with a base light and a reading light can be operated independently. If your light uses a touch switch, adding a separate wall switch will cut power but you'll still need to touch the light to turn it back on. Versions with a USB port have the port active at all times and it does not draw amperage when idle.

If existing ceiling holes are larger, use a plate to keep the new fixture from collapsing into the gap. After install, verify the light doesn't flicker and sits solidly.
