Turn your pass-through into a grab-and-go space. Pick a 1-way or 2-way slide, with models that extend 60 percent, to reach gear from one side or both. Measure your door opening and compare overall vs inside tray dimensions to ensure a clean fit, and check the door lip—spacers or brackets may be needed for clearance. Great for hauling batteries, toolboxes, generators, or a fridge without crawling inside.
Not necessarily. In one case the listed 60" x 23" was the overall size, and the inside measured 58-1/4" x 19-7/8". Check the spec that calls out inside dimensions and compare to your gear (generator, fridge, batteries). Verify length, width, and height so bulky items drop in without forcing it.
Pick a tray width that clears the narrowest door opening; a listed 29" model had an actual width of 28-3/4". Measure the door lip height too. Adjustable brackets can raise a slide 2-1/2", 2-3/4", or 3-1/8" to help it clear. Compare your measurements to the tray drawings before drilling holes.
Choose 2-way if you want access from both sides; 2-way slides extend 60 percent in both directions. Go 1-way if you only need to pull out from one side; those extend 60 percent to that side. Think about where you load from most and how your bay opens to pick what's easiest to use.
