Choose 1-way or 2-way designs to match your bay, and confirm door-lip clearance and mounting bolt layout. Interiors run narrower than the overall width, so check your item's footprint for a clean slide-in fit.
Installation is typically straightforward, though the units are heavy and a helper makes it easier. Mounting rails may require drilling new holes to match your frame layout, so plan your bolt locations and backing. Look through all packing for hardware. Secure to solid structure and consider deceleration loads on the mounting bolts.
Expect the tray floor to sit above the mounting surface, reducing vertical clearance. One install used 1/2 inch PVC board to raise the slide to clear a cargo door lip. Check door-lip height, tray thickness, and overall installed height so bins and equipment still clear the opening.
