Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
The good: I like the way the bikes are held in and the ability to add the upright adapters to the bike frame holders. The straps are quality too. For a jeep with a spare tire, this is the perfect length to clear it. This rack is 5 stars from the bike holders to the base of it. The bad: the 2"receiver adapter and bolt are insufficient. I wish they made this in a solid 2" hitch. The entire setup is held into the receiver by a very short bolt. It only goes about half way into the receiver tube. So your hitch is only "secured" on one side. A hitch pin or bolt should go through the receiver tube completely imo so it can be secured on the other end with a retaining clip or nut. Because this only goes in the one side, the entire weight of the rack plus bikes are held tight to one side of the receiver by the undersized bolt and washer. A few bumps down the road and that bolt loosens. Now instead of distibuting the weight of the rack and bikes on the receiver and post, it's completely up to the bolt to keep you from losing the rack. The bolt threads get damaged too. I took this down a dirt road and nearly lost everything. I had to buy my own bolt with hd fender washers and lock washers to correct this. Thule should've provided this from the start. The current short bolt design where only one side of the receiver secures the rack is unacceptable. This rack is 1 star at best for the connection to the receiver.
I bought this bike rack back in April but wanted to make sure I used it to give the best review. First I want to say I did a lot of research on bike racks and found this one to be the best one to fit my needs. The best price I found was on etrailer.com, at the time it was When I called the customer service to place my order, I spoke to Dan. He was very pleasant on the phone and took the time and listened to what I needed and understood my concerns. I ordered the bike rack and also ordered the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device and the Thule Cable Lock w/ One Key System Lock. Dan suggested I also get the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, which I never even thought of getting. Delivery was in about two business days, which was really fast and at the time of order they were running a special free delivery over $99. When I went to put it together I noticed I was missing the flat cap screw M6 x 16mm, part number #853-5787-02. I emailed Dan and within 24 hours received an email that the part was sent out and also in the email their was a link to track the order. After I received the part I did notice that the flat cap screw was actually in the 2 inch adaptor sleeve. The instructions were very easy to read, and it took me about 20 minutes to put together. I did have an issue when I positioned the stinger into the cradle, with the 8mm locking nut, it was not staying tight and when I took it off I noticed the threads inside were gone, so I ended up going out to Lowes and buying a new one and its holds perfectly fine. I also had a question about that part because it is not a locking part and was worried someone would try to steal the rack. I contacted etrailer.com to find if they make a locking device for this and they said no but I can contact Thule to double check, I'm still waiting for an answer back from Thule. The weather finally broke and we installed the rack onto my hitch, tightened it and it doesn't rattle. When I finally used the rack and put my bike on, it did sway a little but at 50 mph I was very happy with it. The trailer comes out just enough away from my car that I do not have to fold completely out and I can open my trunk with no issues. I am very happy with my purchase and had a great customer experience with Dan. Would highly recommend ordering from them to anyone.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
So far I’ve just assembled it and took a quick test drive around the block. My initial thought is this thing is perfect. It’s super sturdy and easy to use. My only gripe and it’s not fault of the rack, but it’s heavy…
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.

Rhino-Rack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
I purchased this bike rack a year ago and I use it A LOT. I had to buy and install a stabilizer because without it, the unit would sway back and forth even without a bike on it (very noisy). This makes removal more cumbersome but since I keep the hitch on year round it doesn't matter to me. The tilting function is fabulous allowing easy use of my RAV4 hatchback. I can even tilt it down with a bike on it. I got the 2 bike hitch. Plenty of room for two bikes to fit without rubbing. Lastly, the hitch has a sizable through-hole on the bottom to thread a good sized cable so I can lock my bike up. Sturdy. I highly recommend.
The unit ‘s simplicity is a real plus. It takes less than 3 minutes to put the rack on the vehicle. It is well built and very durable and has a nice feature that allows you to open the rear hatch for SUV owners without removing the rack.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.
The Swagman XTC-2 platform bike carrier arrived very quickly from etrailer and in good shape, the actual carrier box is inside another shipper box, which I'm sure helped with its condition. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, even though the instructions could be a little more thorough. Installing the carrier on the back of our Jeep Patriot also was quick, it helps to have an extra ratchet & 3/4" socket laying around for just this purpose. Installing the bikes takes a little patience and trial and error the first time you try and put them on the carrier. It's easy enough to adjust the wheel holders to fit the wheelbase of your bikes, but for us at least, the challenge was trying to swing the vertical support bar up into position after putting on the first bike (closest to the Jeep). We couldn't angle the bike enough toward the Jeep to have the bar clear the bike. We learned that the easiest way to secure the first bike was to remove the ratcheting frame hooks altogether, put the bike in the carrier, swing up the vertical support bar, put in the pin, and then slide one of the frame hooks down on the bar. The outside bike is much easier because you can set the bike in the carrier at whatever angle you need, not being limited by the back of the vehicle. One thing we did to protect the bike frames was to use some foam pipe insulation as cushion between the frame hook and the frame (see pictures). Once you get a system for installing the bikes, it is very quick to load/unload them. The rack seems to be well made and doesn't wiggle excessively when traveling. All in all a good product for a good price, would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a platform bike carrier.

SportRack Ridge Swing 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Swinging
Unit doesn't fit a Jeep Rubicon with a spare tire. I tried 4 times and contacted etrailer.com that the unit doesn't work as sold and they offered to sell me a 7 3/4 extension and reduce the load capacity 50%. The length of the 2" hitch needs to be 3" longer for a standard Rubicon to get past the spare. You not going to want to take your spare tire off for the hitch to work. It defeats the purpose. Customer service was excellent, however the product is a flawed design. Can't recommend this hitch. Its also heavy.
Solid rack for half the price of the name brands. Don’t waste your money! Thanks to the extensive reviews on etrailer and a free shipping promotion I took a chance and ordered this along with the three of their crossbars, anti rattle hitch pin and cable lock. All for well less than the name brand rack alone. Shipping was painful. Etrailer said it was in stock but then due to a delay with the manufacturer it took 35 days from order to arrival. I wasn’t in a hurry so I waited patiently, and etrailer reps emailed often to lmk they hadn’t forgotten. I thought some kind of reward for my extreme patience was in order- discount, gift card, free bag of chips- but they politely declined. Oh well. In the end it arrived when they (eventually) said it would, all in one box, in great shape. The rack was super easy to assemble. You’ll need a ratchet or two and you’ll need to crank those bolts to assemble- they don’t just “insert.” But otherwise it’s only a few steps; I had mine hanging on my truck in probably 15 minutes. Swings away and locks smoothly and requires no effort to do so. Everything feels quite sturdy and well made. No rattle on initial test drive either. This will be a once in a while rack at best for our family of four. We have two SUVs so I needed a rack that could get out of the way of the rear hatch WITH bikes on it. This will do that. And now I don’t need to stuff four dirty bikes into the back of my truck, getting them all tangled and scratched!

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
This two bike rack has been great for the occasional bike ride outside of our home area. I like the sturdy construction, but beware that it is a little heavier than it looks (I’m retired and a bit older so maybe not as strong). Easy to fit into the factory trailer hitch on our 5 passenger SUV and no problem securing the bikes for transport. My only complaint is, the stick on Yakima Graphic started coming apart the day we got it. Sorry, no free advertising for Yakima.
I used this product twice to go back and forth on a 700 mile trip (1400 miles total). My initial impression was that it was sturdy because it was larger than most 2 bike carriers I've seen. The strapping system is convenient and the locking system worked great. The only flaw so far is that one of the locking mechanisms actually broke off. After closer inspection, I realized that the parts are plastic. I'm not sure what actually caused it to break other than the force of hitting a pothole causing the bike to bounce on the rack. Those types of forces should be expected with normal driving however and I expected the locking mechanism to hold up. I was fairly disappointed that it happened given the asking price and the reviews I read prior to my purchase. Other than the locking mechanism on the actual bike rack, I wouldn't put to much faith in the red handled locking pin that inserts into the trailer hitch and insertion bar portion of the bike rack. It is understood that the pin does not go all the way through the insertion bar as the locking mechanism is inside and prevents further advancement. Yakima could probably improve this aspect of the product. I will be contacting Yakima to see if they will replace the broken part. One thing I did notice was that the broken bracket is screwed in and can be removed/replaced fairly easily. I have included pics of the broken bracket and working bracket for comparison. Hope this helps in your decision!

Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Matte Black
When I ordered this rack, I was thinking " Wow, this is a lot of money for a bike rack." Now that its assembled and I loaded it with 4 bike's (don't ask me what the bike's cost) I'm thinking "Wow, this is a lot of bike rack for the money". Awesome product and customer service.
This rack definitely has some pros and cons (as do most racks). A minor frustration is that despite ordering the rack and add-on at the same time, the keys don’t match so if locking three or more bikes you need two different keys (this has only really irritated me when it was raining). As other reviewers have mentioned, this thing is heavy. Neither my wife nor kids can lift it to put it on or get it off the car by themselves. The downside is that given the size of the rack it is not real convenient to just leave it on the car. When the rack is in the up position, it is impossible to get in the back so it is necessary to lower the rack each time you want to get in. The other downside is that the rack significantly cuts down on visibility when backing up. All that being said, the rack is rock solid and the bikes are very secure. The rack is great for extended trips. When loaded and tipped down, it is great to be able to open and access the back. The spacing of the bikes is great and I don’t have to spend 15 minutes figuring out how to slide four bikes in just the right spot to make them all fit as I did with my old rack. Best of all the bikes are only sustaining damage on the trail, not on the back of the car! Despite some minor annoyances, I highly recommend this rack. As for assembly, my 13 year old put it together by himself in about 20 minutes (I promised him i would include that fact).

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Quick and reliable shipping and was able to take to my mechanic to get it installed and it works perfectly with my bike rack!
This is a very solid product! I have used it for over a year now and love it! I have had up to 3 bikes on this without a problem and have traveled over 8 hours in the car one way with absolutely no issues. Many other bike racks like this one that I see on other cars look unstable this is not unstable in anyway. I did have to file some of the paint off of the rack to get it to fit in my 1 and 1/4" hitch but once that was done it has been perfect. I also bought the locking hitch bolt which is awesome too.

Curt Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Nice bike rack ! Saddles are well made and none of the ears that hold the straps in place have broken like they have with other brands I've owned. It came with 1 strap for each saddle and the straps seem just a tad stretchy. I looked on line and found that Home Depot has a good price for the straps so I now have 2 straps on each saddle. I've got it on a 1&1/4 hitch, but it came with an adapter for a 2 inch. It holds 3 road bikes. I used it all the time.
We are very happy with the Curt Bike Rack. It fits our 2 fat tire bikes and our tandem bike to the back of our motorhome with no problems.

Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Used it twice so far, it meets my expectations based on other reviews. It's easy to load the bikes (8 minutes or so for 4 bikes) and to move up or down. Glad I bought this "lighter" platform rack rather than the swagman because while it's not hard to get into the hitch, neither is it "light". Anything heavier would definitely be a pain. Hopefully straps etc are durable over the long haul. No problem getting 2 adult and 2 kids bikes on. Glad I went with a platform rack over a bar. My sister has the bar rack and says it's impossible to get 4 bikes on.
Ok so I I was going to buy a safari rack which ended up being about $100 more once you tacked on taxes and shipping from another website. This was on sale and had really good reviews. I bought this and have used it long enough to leave an honest review. It’s a really good rack, quality built, and If anything should break on the rack etrailer has all the replacement parts for very cheap prices. I have used this racks for shuttle duties and held 4 big enduros bikes several times. You don’t need to use the extra red straps sent with the rack for the bikes to be very secure. As someone stated before in the reviews long wheelbase bikes like size L or XL frame enduro or DH bikes might only be able to strap one wheel and frame attachment (the one wheel will be too long to get a good strap on), but all you need to do is drill a hole and move the clamp outboard about 2” and you’ll be good as gold. This rack is awesome and was a heck of a deal. Would recommend and buy again if I ever needed 2 racks? Also not to mention (not that I really care), but the rack was packaged really nice and didn’t come all damaged from shipping, it was really nicely formed foam that was glued in place and not just some hack job some guy tossed in a box. 10/10 !
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Zach: What's up guys, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks TRS two-bike platform-style bike rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is going to be an excellent bike rack to carry a lot of different style bikes. You can see we have an e-bike here today. This is going to carry bikes up to 65 pounds per tray. When you're carrying e-bikes, we recommend taking the battery off. That's going to save weight, but it's also going to help reduce the shock and vibration going down the road on your battery.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder HLY94FR
Hey guys, that entrailer.com today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood destination two bike platform, style bike rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is going to be a really nice cost-effective way to get a platform style rack on your vehicle. If you're looking to carry more than two bikes, I would suggest maybe also looking at a hanging style rack, because this is going to be frame contact. And if you're looking to carry more than two bikes with a platform, the price is really going to start getting up there pretty quickly. But this, if you're just looking for two bikes is a great way to get your bikes where you need to go. So it's got a unique way that it holds onto the bike.
Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Zach: Hey guys, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today, I have the Yakima HoldUp two bike platform style bike rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is going to be a really excellent way to carry a lot of different style bikes. It's going to be a wheel mounted style, so it's going to be great for carbon fiber bikes like this. But it has a capacity of 60 pounds per bike, so it's going to be able to carry some of your e-bikes as well. If you're going to carry an e-bike, I highly recommend removing that battery and putting it in the car. It's going to save you some weight, but it will also take some stress off of your battery going down the road.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Zack: Hey guys, Zack here at etrailer.com, and today I have one of my favorite bike racks, the Kuat NV 2.0, and I have it on the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This bike rack, I see it around town all the time. People love it, and for good reason. It's a really solid rack. It's super versatile. It's going to carry bikes up to 60 pounds.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Zach: Hey guys, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today I have the Thule-Hitching-Post-Pro on a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is going to be a really nice hanging-style bike rack. It's time-tested, and I think it's going to do a really good job of just getting your bikes to the park or to the trail. We've got several people around here who've had this bike rack for a long time. Customers really like it.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Hey guys, Zack at etrailer.com.Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Camber Four Bike Hanging Style Bike Rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is an excellent bike rack if you're looking for just a hanging style bike rack. And they've done a really good job of adding some upgrades to kind of a classic design. So right away, one of my favorite things is the spacing that they've added to these cradles. A common problem with hanging style bike racks is they normally sit really close to each other and they start interfering with each other. So your handlebars are getting caught on your seats. Your pedals are getting caught up with each other and you're going to scratch them.
Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Hey guys, Zack 00:00:01 etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Saris Glide EX 2 hanging style bike rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is going to be a hanging style rack that has a lot of upgraded features compared to other style hanging racks. The biggest one is a problem that you have with hanging style racks is this mass, and you're not going to be able to get your hatch open. So if you had your bikes loaded up and you forgot stuff in the hatch, you'd have to take them all off to lower it down but with this one, you come back to this handle right here, and you squeeze that button and you can lower your mass down with the bikes loaded. That's the big thing right there.
Rhino Rack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Zach: Hey guys, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today, I have the Rhino-Rack two bike hanging style bike rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is going to be a really solid hanging style bike rack. There's not a lot to it, but it has a couple of nice features to it that I really like. I like how sturdy it is though. Everything's just really stiff and solid.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder
Hey guys, Zach here at etrailer.com, today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima BackRoad, two bike hanging style bike rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is going to be a really nice option if you're looking for a hanging style bike rack, one thing with hanging styles, I wouldn't recommend putting carbon fiber bikes on here, but overall, this is going to do a good job getting your bikes wherever you need them to go. This one has a couple of nice upgraded features compared to some of the other hanging styles we offer, a one thing in particular, it has this integrated lock back here. It goes around the last bike, secures back into that post, and it's going to come with that key already in, or that lock in place. A lot of them you'll have to add it in, which is just one more thing you'll have to buy.So, the way this is secured, is it's held in place by three straps up top, so two on the top tube and one on our seat post here, and those straps are going to be really nice. We'll take this anti-sway cradle off, and what that anti-sway cradle does is it prevents that sway back and forth of those bikes.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder YA44FR
Hey guys, Zack here at trailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima BackRoad hanging-style bike rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is a four bike version of this. Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder TH9034XT
Zack: Hey guys, Zack here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule T2 Pro XTB Bike Rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is the two bike version, but it also comes in a four bike version. I have it here in black today, but it's also available in silver. Now, I like this bike rack quite a bit. It's one of my favorites we offer because it carries a lot of different style bikes.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder TH44VR
Zach: Hey guys, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Two Platform Style Bike Rack on our 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. This is a pretty cool setup on this bike rack. What I like about it is it's double wheel mount platform-style rack versus just a single or even a frame mounted style. So with this being a carbon bike, you definitely don't want to put a frame style rack on here or put your bike on a rack like that. And what is nice about the double wheel mount style is you can move these around.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Nissan Pathfinder
Hi everyone, Aidan here with trailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on the back of our 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. The OnRamp is gonna be a platform style bike rack that holds the bike in these trays and by our frame. We have this cradle with a strap run around the frame to hold it upright and then two straps on the bottom that pull the bike down and in at an angle and that results in a really strong hold overall. This bike rack is designed to be used with e-bikes, has an included ramp that stores right on the bike rack and a 66 pound weight capacity so it's gonna be good for some of those heavier e-bikes. With it making frame contact, you do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes because it can damage the frame but alternative frame should be just fine.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Nissan Pathfinder
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec on the back of our 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. The E-Spec is a platform style bike rack that holds the bike in these wheel cradles and by our frame using a frame hook up top. It's gonna get a pretty strong hold on the bike too and it has a 70 pound weight capacity per bike so it's gonna be good for some of our heavier e-bikes as well. With this making frame contact, you do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes because this frame hook can damage that fragile frame.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Nissan Pathfinder
Hi everyone, Aidan here at the trailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination e-bike rack on the back of our 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. This is gonna be an excellent e-bike rack that's capable of holding up to 70 pounds per bike. It's gonna hold our bike by the frame up here with this clamp that is totally lockable, so you can make sure your bike's secured. Because it makes frame contact though, we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes because that can damage the frame. But the clamp does move around, slide along the mast, pivot and rotate 360 degrees, so you can adapt it to alternative frames just fine.
Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Nissan Pathfinder
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at the Yakima RidgeBack hanging-style bike rack right here on our 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. So, the Yakima RidgeBack is great for if you wanna carry a lot of bikes, that's because you can get either a four or a five-bike version. It doesn't have your more modern premium features that some of your newer bike racks have, but it's still has some cool things like the Yakima ZipStrips and these nice comfortable cushions. So, we're gonna take a look at some of those features, but we'll focus on how they work with your Nissan Pathfinder, so you can see if this is gonna be the right fit for you, your bicycles and your vehicle. So, first, we'll take a look at the way our bike is mounted to this bike rack.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Nissan Pathfinder
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at our Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Two-Bike Platform Rack right here on our 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. So the Kuat Sherpa is a very compact, it's pretty lightweight, and it's not as pricey as the Kuat NV, but it still has those premium features you would expect from a Kuat bike rack. So this is gonna be a very stylish bike rack for those bikes of different shapes and sizes. So in this video, we'll take a look at what kind of bikes can you carry with this bike rack, what's its weight capacity, what does it do, and especially in relation to our Nissan Pathfinder. So the first feature we're gonna take a look at is the tilt away feature. You have a lever right over here.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Nissan Pathfinder
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Hitching Post Pro by Thule on our 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. Now our Hitching Post Pro is going to allow us to take up to four bikes to and from the trails. It's going to be a lot easier than trying to cram the bikes in the back of our Pathfinder, and they'll be nice and secure on the bike rack. Now since it's a hanging style, we're going to have three points of contact. We'll have two along the cross tube on the top, and we'll one on the vertical tube here, and that's going to act as an anti-sway cradle so our bike doesn't sway too much back and forth and create bike-to-bike contact. We'll go ahead and take it off so we can take a closer look. We'll just grab the rubber straps. We can take them off.

It's going to allow you haul up to four bikes to and from the trails or wherever else you want to take them. Now, it mounts on our bike in a couple of different points, we have three exactly. We have two straps, one on the back wheel right here and we're going to have one on the front wheel and both of these straps are going to have these nice, rubber pads that will help protect our bike wheel from any type of scratches or abrasions and instead of having a rubber-coated hook or anything putting downward force on top of our top tube, we have a cradle and strap securing our down tube right there, you can see, like that. I'll show you the example of this cradle on the other side, can rotate all the way around.

I really like how solid it is when it has it secured, just as it is if moving independently from the bike rack. It's gonna hold our bike in three different points.
