Reese 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Glossy Black
My 9 year old and I were able to assemble and install this in about an hour. The anti rattle bolt recommended in the video, and the lights, were great additions and I definitely recommend them too. Handled a 900 mile round trip around the northeast and had plenty of room to bring Xmas presents home in the Curt waterproof cargo bag.
This is a solid Cargo carrier. I was originally looking for a rooftop carrier but I came to realize that a cargo carrier is a far superior option for increased weight and size, ease of access, stability and aerodynamic. Although this one doesn't fold up, there is still adequate space to access the rear hatch on my SUV.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
the good: strong. lots of anchor points. secure once assembled. gaps between bars are small, stuff doesn't slip through and hit my roof. reasonably priced. mounts securely. on and off relatively easily. holds a good amount of cargo. weight limit is more than my roof can handle anyway. the bad: assembly is a pain and didn't fit exactly. small rust spots developing. heavy. plastic wind deflector cracked from a rock. lots of wind noise driving at high speeds. overall. i recommend this basket. had some assembly issues because the two pieces didn't fit into each other easily, one side is slightly off-center. wish the plastic wind deflector was metal instead. i've used it several times and have no real issues with it.
I purchased this for my daughter who has a very active lifestyle. She has driven cross country and goes camping with friends. She absolutely loves this roof rack. It was easy to mount and easy to load.

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
I love this basket! Once I centered on cross braces, it was easy to leave the connectors in same spot. Also, low enough profile to drive in and out my garage. We have a screen door so that made it a shorter height than traditional garage door.
Excellent! Only issue regarding shipping box a bit battered - but product packed well. Also, hardware missing ie a single washer, which was replaced with one of my own.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Once it was together, I really liked it. It wasn’t that easy to put together and it required metric tools which I had to search for. It worked well and it was very useful.
Great little rack that does it's job. 4/5 due to two factors, one being its maximum 150lbs rating & two for being positioned DIRECTLY behind the stock exhaust on the 2017 Fiesta ST. We used this to driving across the country (Seattle, WA > Norfolk, VA) and it worked great, after wrapping our suitcase that was directly behind the exhaust in some heat resistant insulation. It did Melt the canvas tarp slightly but after the insulation, the suitcase was fine. Definitely was a lifesaver for space, with three adults, a chihuahua and 17lb cat being in the car for 45 hours, over the span of 5 days.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.
This thing was not fun to put together. At all. But I got fair warning about it from the reviews. I suggest a 17mm socket bit and a drill. Plan on taking it apart a couple times so don't cinch it down tight at first. Once it is put together it's a solid unit. It'll be nice for our camping trips. The light bulky stuff that took up precious real estate can now ride outside.

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black Glossy
This rooftop cargo carrier is exactly what I wanted. Well made and super easy to install. Thank you for the fast service.
The box is big (XL), shiny and sleek. Looks great on our 2021 Subaru Ascent. It weighs about 40lbs, so I was able to simply lift it up and onto the stock Subaru cross bars by myself with a bit of effort going towards balance. Then it was just a matter of attaching the clamps by hand tightening them. I don’t think it could get any easier. The locking mechanism is very assertive and secure. The box is big and can hold just about anything you’d need on a road trip. However, on a midsize SUV like the Ascent, it seems like the perfect size, not too small, not too big. It’s a good fit. Unfortunately, my small 2 car garage is too low to accommodate the vehicle with the box in place. Overall it’s a very refined and well thought out package.

GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - 420 lbs - Black
Perfect sized box for carry sized luggage and softball game day gear. Proven space saver. Receiver is showing signs of rust otherwise would be a ten. Would buy again.
Overall it's a great box. Love how much room it has and it's easy access. Slides out so van's rear doors open completely. Brake and turn lights improve visibility. Not waterproof but generally things stay dry. A couple of minor things: hole for lock was too close to the edge and pulled out so I drilled one on each front corner (more secure) - metal stays keep sliding out. I need to glue them in. I definitely would buy again.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
I love this unit! I’m an avid Camper and Jeeper. My rig has big tires including the spare that requires additional clearance. In addition to hauling my gear, I had concerns about ground clearance off roading and stability. This unit exceeded my expectations on every point! I can even open the tailgate with the unit on and it still has enough clearance to fold up when not loaded. In addition to a great product, the order was confirmed and shipped same day and on my doorstep two days later. It was pretty easy to put together but having a second person to help and fit it on the first time is helpful. Great product!
Easy assembly. Took about 15 minutes. Includes everything needed, even 2 wrench tools! Feels sturdy and well made. Feels just like our other one( curt brand)

SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black
After a year of dependable use the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box continues to perform to my needs, wants, and expectations. The 2 attributes that shine the most are ease of access/cargo loading (rear access vs. side) and ease of off/on (lightweight and access to the U-bolt hardware). While the overall quality of the materials and hardware are not quite "Excellent", they're darn close. For my needs I'm very happy with this cargo box and the price point makes it a better option the the more expensive brands. It may not be as cool and groovy as a Th*** or Yak*** box but it gets the job done.
The Roof Box was as described and fit great -- Nice. Shipping however was not good, trucker dropped it and the skid at the foot of the driveway -- It looked like it had been crushed and dropped. There was some slight damage, but we accepted it as complaining would be more trouble than it is worth. E Trailer should vet their carriers better -- no care taken with this shipment.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Tall - 150 lbs
Put this on an 2023 Rav 4 Hybrid- Easy to put together. You might need two people to get it up on top. Strong. Will create some wind noise after install. Solid build and construction.
I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you

Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers - 2" Hitches
Unfortunately we can’t open rear of 2018 expedition with the top box in place. One of the knob locking pins is/was broken in shipping. I also wish all of the items were keyed the same. This whole setup is 5 keys. I’ll probably call a locksmith and have them all re-keyed if possible.
Easy assembly. Great design! Swing out feature is awesome to allow easy access to SUV liftgate. Extra storage space allows 5 or 6 people with luggage, golf clubs, tailgating equipment, etc. to travel together in one vehicle. License plate holder and light kit is a great accessory.

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
Excellent car top carrier (not that I've had many to compare it to). Easy to install and remove, sturdy, and fits well on our Toyota Siena. Opening it is a little tricky, as sometimes the top sticks to the bottom a bit. Adds a lot of extra storage to our car, great for when we go camping. Great experience with etrailer.
Excellent roomy cargo box. My wife’s luggage even fit (see photo). Fit the top of my Forester like it was meant to be there and the hatch opens without obstruction. Great shipping by etrailer.com via Estes freight shipping (almost overkill on shipping).

Curt 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Matte Black
Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.
Used it a hand full of times for camping with two different SUVs and its been great. Once over 2000 miles round trip. With the waterproof bag you can hold more gear since it goes above the side rails. Just be careful if your driveway slopes down you’ll lightly scrape the ground when backing out. And if you have a smaller suv or car make sure you center the heaviest items or it will feel it pulling back and forth on the freeway.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
I recently purchased Curt Roof Rack and Curt Roof Cargo Basket from Etrailer for my 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport and the product was excellent, easy to install and Etrailer rep Mr. Mike B having great experiences and very helpful with the products. Thank you!
The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitch - Slide Out - 34 cu ft - 300 lbs - Dark Gray
Excellent service with etrailer and expeditious shipping! Couldn’t be happier and thank you!!! The model cats are not for sale sadly ??
This is a great cargo carrier with a lot of room, not too happy with the price. We are using this to transport wheelchairs and walkers. We can carry two wheelchairs and a rollater plus rugs, chairs, etc. The top is a clam shell that opens and closes easily once the latches are released. A couple things could be better. The very long power cable that brings power to the license plate light and brake lights has lots of slack when the carrier is not extended, but no way to control it. I've been looking for a spring that I could use to retract the power cable, yet give it some slack when the carrier is pulled out. The other thing is the pair of "locks" that apparently lock the carrier. The locks are flimsy and are not much more than another set of fasteners and would keep out only the most casual thief. Also, the lock between the carrier and the vehicle is very hard to reach, for both locking and unlocking; fortunately, the lock part can be pushed onto the rod while locked. A cable would be easier to deal with but would rattle while driving.
Mount: Flint Hill Goods 22" x 49" Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier on a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Right now we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier, it's the compact version, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. This is gonna be made out of aluminum, so it's gonna be super lightweight, easy to store when you're not using it, but it's still gonna be able to support up to 500 pounds, so let's take a closer look. So with our Pacifica, we do have a decent amount of storage in the back, but once you start loading that up with people and their items, things really fill up very quickly, so something like this could be useful in the event that you're going for a long-term trip, somewhere where you need a little bit of extra storage, or maybe even the opposite where you're going on a short-term trip to just like the grocery store, hardware store, you're picking up something like mulch or anything that's gonna make a mess inside your car, you'd rather have that out on the back, this is how you get around that. Here in the inside are the aluminum slats, there's just six that run straight across the entire carrier, so you still have room to get some larger items on here with having that space for debris to fall through. Our side walls aren't very tall, but they do give you just a little bit more protection or something to butt your gear up against to give it a little bit more security inside.
DIY 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Installation for the Flint Hill Goods 29" x 49" Carrier w/ 60" Ramp
How's it going It's Ethan here at etrailer. Right now we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods 49 by 29 inch hitch-mounted aluminum cargo carrier with the 60 inch ramp right here on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. So we do have a large cargo container, but if we need a little bit of help loading some things up whether that's a wheelchair, scooter, generator in this case, lawnmower. As long as it falls within that 500 pound weight capacity of the carrier or in our case, our tongue weight on our hitch is actually 400 pounds. If we keep it below that amount we can get any sort of wheeled accessory up here and in securely and where we need them to go. So let's take a closer look.
Setting up the Flint Hill Goods 19" x 53" Cargo Carrier on your 2022 Chrysler Pacifica
How's it going It's Ethan here at etrailer. Right now we're gonna be taking a look at the Compact Steel Hitch Cargo Carrier from Flint Hill Goods and how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. So with the Pacifica, we have a good amount of storage in the back, but if you're going on a long road trip or even a short trip where you just want to get some larger, heavier, maybe some messier items, you don't want them to keep them inside your vehicle, this is a great way to get them outside while still being compact and really durable, so let's take a look. This carrier has a 500 pound weight capacity, it's made of steel with a nice black product coat finish, so it's really well built and it's gonna be durable, especially out in the elements when you're driving and things are kicking up from the bottom and hitting it. Also, it is gonna be still really lightweight, it's only gonna come in at about 25 pounds, even though it is made of steel. So if you compare that to the aluminum version, it's only a couple pounds heavier, but I think it's gonna be a lot more durable.

etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chrysler Pacifica e98872
Zack: Hey guys, Zack here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer folding cargo carrier on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. This is going to be a really good cargo carrier if you're looking to utilize that third row and free up some space in the back, or if you need a cargo carrier and you don't have a lot of storage space at your place. What's great is it can fold up and you can tuck it away in the garage or down in a storage spot, in an apartment. And you don't have to have a big bulky, really large cargo carrier taking up all that space. Now you can see it is going to have a good size to it.
Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chrysler Pacifica
Hi, everyone. Adam, with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be takimg a look at the Let's Go Aero Sliding Cargo Carrier on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. This one specifically is going to be about 48 inches by 32 inches, a little bit bigger than some of your normal cargo carriers and also we're going to have a 72 by 32 inch size as well. What's really neat about this one in particular is just the fact that we can slide it to be able to gain rear hatch access to our Pacifica. There's going to be a little anti-rattle bolt down at the bottom we can undo and this is going to be a little bit different than some of the other cargo carriers that we carry here.
How to Install: Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket on your 2020 Chrysler Pacifica
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima off-grid roof mounted cargo basket on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. Well on our Pacifica here, one thing that I thought initially when I got in, a lot of seating. There's a lot of people that we can fit in this van whenever we're going on a trip or something like that. And a lot of people means a lot of stuff. So even with that third row up and people occupying those seats, we're not going to have a whole lot of trunk space.
MaxxTow Roof Mounted Cargo Basket Review - 2020 Chrysler Pacifica
Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow roof mounted cargo basket on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. So on our Pacifica here, we have quite a bit of space to put our people; a lot of seats, three rows, but honestly, leg room is kind of at a minimum. So if we're going on a trip to Florida, somewhere far away, it's going to just be ideal to get all of our stuff out and up on to our basket. Just because I always like to have plenty of legroom, and you guys probably know better than me when the kids are comfy in the back, when you're going on long trips, they're usually happier, which makes everybody a lot more happy. So we are going to have a steel construction with a nice powder coated finish, so it's going to match our factory bars pretty well. It's not too glossy, not too flat. Also, we are going to have about 38 and a half inches by 34 and a half inches of space and these sidewalls here are going to come up about three and a quarter inches.
Fit Test: 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches with 2020 Chrysler Pacifica
Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today what we're going to do is take a look at the trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. So this is going to be relatively a standard size about 24 inches by 60 inches. And it is going to get quite a bit of all that gear out of the inside of your Pacifica and onto the back. Some options for storage might be on the roof, but if you don't really want to do that, or you're already using something on the roof, getting a hitch mounted cargo carrier is going to take care of that for you. The Pacifica can carry quite a bit of passengers, about three rows of seats.
Curt 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Chrysler Pacifica
Adam: Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com today, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Hitch-mounted Cargo Carrier on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. So this is going to be a great way to get all that gear out of your Pacifica onto something, just to clear up all that room inside there. I know whenever I'm going on trips, the more legroom the better, and the younger, the kids, the more legroom that they want. So you want them to just be happy and honestly, I think this is probably one of your best bets. You could also put it on your roof, but if that's not an option, I do think this is going to be great. It is going to be about 24 inches by 60 inches.
Fit Verified: 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica
Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Reese Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. So, right off the bat, I'm just going to let you guys know this isn't going to be a cargo carrier that will tilt up or tilt away. It is just going to be fixed. Installing the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box on your 2019 Chrysler Pacifica
Colin: Hey, everyone. Colin here at etrailer, and today we have a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, and on the factory roof rack we went ahead and threw up here the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box, just to test fit it, see how it looks on a Chrysler, and just to show you how it's going to interact with your vehicle. Now, this cargo box is going to be a great accessory to be able to get some of that extra cargo, whether it's beach gear, camping accessories, stuff like that, maybe just even luggage that you can't fit in the van to get it up and stored in your box. That is going to make more space inside for your passengers, more elbow and leg room. And most importantly, you don't have to sacrifice leaving some of your cargo behind because you can't fit it in here. This box is going to have a durable ABS plastic construction. It's really rigid. It's going to help protect your cargo from any impacts that you might experience while on the road, such as maybe road debris or rocks flying up and hitting your box.
Fit Check: 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be taking a look at the Reese Explorer, hitch mounted cargo carrier. This is going to be the perfect option to either carry more cargo or carry the cargo you normally would inside, outside, and free up some space for more passengers. This is going to be one of the larger carriers available, and it's going to be 24 inches long, 60 inches wide and 5,5 inches tall. So that's going to give us plenty of space to carry any of that camping equipment, sporting equipment, full-size coolers or anything else we might have. And we're going to have plenty of spots to secure our gear down with the strap and the rails are going to be small enough that way our average size strap we have no problem hooking around it.
Inno Roof Box Review - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica
Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're gonna be doing a test-fit on the INNO Wedge Rooftop Cargo Box, which is part number INBRM 624BK.This roof rack mounts to the roof rack of your vehicle. It's gonna allow you to haul any type of cargo, luggage, sports and recreational gear, anything like that above the roof of your vehicle. One of the cool features is that it has a dual sided opening lid, meaning we can access the box from either side of the vehicle. So, for times when you might be parked in your garage, or maybe a tight parking spot and you can't get access from your passenger side, come over to the driver's side. We'll take our included set of keys, insert them, unlock it, and push down on this black button. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocket Box Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box, part number Y07193.The Yakima Rocket Box is great for carrying both skis and snowboards, as well as luggage or sporting goods equipment, and it's slim enough that you can actually fit other accessories on the other side of it, as you see here, even with a factory style roof rack. This can open from either side, so you can actually adjust it to the passenger or driver side as needed. It comes with two sets of keys to open it up and once you have it in the unlocked position, the key cannot be removed. You simply push the red button and it pops open.Looking inside the box, you can see we have about 11 cubic feet of space to work with. I would like to point out that the clamps that attach it to your roof rack are adjustable back and forth as you need to adjust this back and forth, say to get clearance with your rear hatch.Clearance is not going to be an issue for this particular vehicle. As you can see there's plenty of space between our box and the hatch. And as far as the carrying capacity is concerned, it's going to be 11 cubic feet of storage, but I would go by the weight recommendations of both your vehicle and the roof rack you're using before you install anything in there. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the Rocket Box, let's go ahead and show you how it installs.

Kuat Mini Skinny Roof Cargo Basket and Bike Carrier Installation - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test fitting the Kuat Mini Skinny Roof Cargo Basket and Bike Carrier, part number MSR1B.The Kuat Mini Skinny is great for carrying up to one bike in your cargo basket and it still has enough free space to have some luggage up here as well. It's skinny enough that you could have additional accessories on the other side of it.The basket does have an aerodynamic shape and that coupled with the fact that it has a fairing already installed as well, that's going to cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive, meaning a quieter drive while you're on the road. The backside of the basket actually folds up and this is to assist with giving you a little bit of better clearance between the hatch and the trunks of your vehicle. But as you can see in this configuration, that there's not going to be an issue of clearance between our hatch and the cargo basket.Where the bike attaches to our roof basket here, you want to make sure it's able to fit through a 9 mm skewer and also this will work with both standard and disc brakes. Also, as you can see here, there's plenty of space in between the roof rack and the roof here to where our cargo basket isn't going to have any contact issues with there as well. This does come with locks to secure it to your roof and they're going to be at the top here, right over where our brackets make contact. The maximum crossbar spread for this is going to be 14-5/8 from center to center and 35-7/8 center to center.

Rola Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Rola Packer Cargo Carrier, Part Number 59530. This is going to measure 20" long by 60" wide and have a carrying capacity of 500 pounds. As you can see, it sits pretty low on our Pacifica here. Next I'd like to give you a couple quick measurements. Measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outermost point, we've added about 21-1/4" to this edge here. Our ground clearance is going to be about 10", so keep an eye on that. Our closest point to the bumper, that's going to be about 1-1/2 " to this edge. This does have a nice mesh floor to it, which makes it easy to clean.
What our customers are saying:
"Outstanding customer service! These days I would say very few companies excel at customer service - in a time when web servers and outsourcing can do most of the work, it is rare. I called one week before I plan to go on vacation to get a particular cargo carrier that I was not able to find in any local store. I sppoke to a real human being who not only took my order, but assured me that it would be handled immediately to ensure that it got here in time. Within three hours I received an email that it was in stock and being prepared. Fifty minutes later I received an email from a different person saying it was shipped. The next day it was in Georgia. Phenomenal way to take care of your business. Great work!"
