Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2007 Toyota Tacoma

Today, on our 2007 Toyota Tacoma, well be test fitting the Fork Style Roof Mounted Bike Rack from Swagman, part number S64710. With the Thule Aeroblade roof rack system assembled on to our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the fork down directly on to our load bars.At the front, well take the u-bolts, bring them up through our platform, making sure that they go around our load bar from the underside, and tighten them place with the wing knots. We can repeat that process for the other side. Once we have the front secured, we can move to the rear, take our u-bolt and drop it in from the top of the bike rack, making sure it goes around our rear load bar, well fit it through the bracket, and tighten them place with the two wing knots. Your preparation to load our bike, we need to make sure that the securer at the front is loose, and the wheel strap at the rear is undone. Well grab our bike, place it on to the carrier, and drop our front forks down on to our securer.



RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2007 Toyota Tacoma

Today on our 2007 Toyota Tacoma, we'll be test fitting the RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY1011. With the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the RockyMounts TieRod directly under our load bars. Here at the front, we'll remove the black plastic cover and bring our rubber coated straps throughout the front load bar, fitting them back into the head of the carrier. We'll then use an Allen tool to tighten the Allen bolts to tighten our straps through on our load bars. Once we have that tight, we can then go ahead and reinstall our black plastic cover. We'll move to the rear and swing our rear clamp around our rear bar.
