Yes, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C68JR will connect to the factory tow package wiring on your 2022 Hyundai Palisade. It does include the reverse circuit wiring so when you connect to a trailer with surge brakes and a Reverse Lockout Solenoid # T4748800 you will not have the brakes activate when driving in reverse. view full answer...
The weight is just 19 lbs for the Demco spare tire carrier for trailer tongues; it also comes in your choice of silver or black in color (the weight is the same for each):
- Silver: Demco Spare Tire Carrier for up to 4" Trailer Tongue # DM15851-52
- Black: Demco Spare Tire Carrier for up to 4" Trailer Tongue # DM15851-76
As for mounting, it does need to be mounted vertically so the weight is centered on the carrier itself as opposed to on the mounting hardware.

You should not use a weight distribution hitch with your 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz because the hitch that fits it - the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23WR - is not rated for use with weight distribution.
What you can use instead - and it is not required but I do recommend it for stability - is friction sway control, which will work so long as your trailer does NOT have hydraulic surge brakes:
- Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660
You will also need the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for... view full answer...
What I strongly recommend instead that will fix your problem is the Flush King Reverse Flush Valve for RV Holding Tanks and Sewer Hoses - 3" Diameter # F02-4350 because it is designed for the exact problem you are having. It will flush the hoses so the waste water does not stay the "T" on your photo. It would require you to hook up a hose, Flushing Hose for RV Sewer System # W01-4180 (15 feet) or # W01-4300 (25 feet) but would be the remedy to your issue.

The 2" Receiver # 391RR2 included with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 391HYUNPALIS19T is only for use with hitch mounted accessories. Using the 2" receiver with a separate ball mount will push the connection out further an creates more of a torsional force on the connection and cross tube. Stealth decided you are only able to use their included Ball Mount # 391BMU5L for towing. If you were to use the 2" receiver with a separate ball mount and it should damage the receiver... view full answer...
I spoke with Curt and verified the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23WR that fits your 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz is NOT compatible with weight distribution. There is not a hitch for your '23 Santa Cruz that is compatible with weight distribution. view full answer...
You will have to run the wire from the battery to the 1 o'clock terminal on the 7-way connector in the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. This wire is what powers the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 and allows you to have trailer brakes without hardwiring in a trailer brake controller. It sounds like that is what the trailer company is wanting to do is hard wire in a trailer brake controller which will involve slicing into wiring under the dash on your 2022 Hyundai Santa... view full answer...
While grade 8 bolts like you have are recommended to install a class 3 trailer hitch, I do not recommend using the bolts in your picture. For a trailer hitch like the Curt #14001 you were looking at, it uses 1/2" x 13 grade 8 bolts. Hitch manufacturers including Draw-tite and Curt recommend only using manufacturer approved hardware. We can provide a complete hardware kit of all manufacturer approved hardware in part # RHK. Just enter to correct part number from your hitch before adding... view full answer...
That is an interesting question. We do caution against bolting the Demco Coupler # DM14793-81 to a round tube. While you might be able to drill holes and tighten the bolts properly, the concern would be that the body of the coupler is not making full contact with the frame. As you said, they are intended for rectangular or right angle stock steel. With a part of the trailer as important as the coupler, it is an area where we would want to take any risks.
Your best bet would be to take... view full answer...
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR which is plug and play for your 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe has a powered converter module and is compatible with your all LED lighting. This powered module serves 2 purposes. First it combines the separate brake light and turn signal wiring into a combined system used on trailers. It also reduces the amount of strain put on the factory wiring by sending power from the vehicle battery to the trailer lights. This is important since the tail... view full answer...
I just spoke to Stealth Hitches about their Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # 391HYUNPALIS19T and they are updating the wiring in their Towing Kit # 391CONVPT5L to no longer require the power wire to run with the inline fuse to the battery connection.
They are still in the process of making these changes to their instructions but you can confirm that you do have the black power wire that does connect into the vehicle connector. And that you do have 12 volt power to the blade... view full answer...
The Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier # SA805BL will not put any additional stress on the glass of your 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe because it's weight is spread out and is not forced down on the glass.
The strap attachments are not going to cause any type of issues as they are designed to securely hook on but are rubber and vinyl-coated to keep your Santa Fe completely protected.
In regards to rain, it will not leak whatsoever inside your car if you have the Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier # SA805BL... view full answer...
I looked up the owner's manual for a 2019 Hyundai Sonata and it said the vehicle can be towed with the front wheels off the ground, though I highly recommend checking your copy of the owner's manual to verify.
If you do verify, then yes, you can use the Roadmaster tow dolly:
- Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look. view full answer...
According to the owner's manual I looked up online of a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq, when towing the vehicle, it should be in neutral, but that is for emergency towing. All of our information on towing comes from owner's manuals and there was no definitive word on recreational towing so to be certain this won't harm your Ioniq I strongly recommend contacting Hyundai.
If it is allowed, you will want to use a tow dolly from Demco:
- Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly # DM9713045
- Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow... view full answer...
Yes, any weight added to the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount # D210 will need to be considered towards your tongue weight. We typically figure around 10-15% of the trailer's GTW for tongue weight so you'd have roughly 200lbs plus the 150lbs from the bikes/rack for a rough total of 350lbs. The Curt # D210 has a tongue weight capacity of 750lbs so you well within its capacity, but you should still check the capacity of your Santa Fe and the trailer hitch's capacity to ensure you're not overloading... view full answer...
If you look at the owner's manual for your 2016 Hyundai Tucson you will see on page 6-23 it says that it is acceptable to tow the front wheel drive version of with the rear wheels on the ground. You will want to confirm this in your copy of the owner's manual.
Since you can tow your Tucson using a tow dolly we do have some options available to you. Part # RM-2050-1 is a basic version that is rated for 4,250 lbs and has the option to use electric brakes.

Many original equipment floor mats supplied by auto makers have special fixtures in them to help hold them in place on the floor of the vehicle. These often consist of a small hook attached to the permanent carpet layer and a grommet in the removable floor mat that catches on that hook to keep the mat from sliding around under the drivers feet. Sometimes these mats also have small projections, or spikes, on the bottom surface to grip the permanent carpet layer.
Some aftermarket floor mats,... view full answer...
When it comes to a trailer hitch receiver for a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, you will have different options, like Class II or Class III, depending on the style of your vehicle. I have attached an article which covers the Class and size differences.
For the Sport model, we have a Class III receiver, the Curt, # C13152, which has a 2" hitch opening.
For the GLS and Limited, a Class III like the Curt # C13153 is the only option.
I personally recommend going with the Class III 2" hitch. Not... view full answer...
When considering the maximum tongue weight capacity rating of the vehicle or the hitch, you should always go with whatever is the lowest of the two. For example, if you are considering the Draw-Tite Hitch - 2" # 75836 on your 2019 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate, the 100-pound capacity is the lowest factor compared to the 525 maximum tongue weight capacity of the # 75836. Putting more weight than the 100-pound maximum can greatly damage your vehicle and is extremely dangerous. view full answer...
I took a look at the owner's manual for a 2017 Hyundai Sonata and it states that it is not recommended to tow a trailer, but that doesn't mean you cannot.
The Draw-Tite # 24965 trailer hitch you referenced fits your '17 Sonata so long as it is not a Hybrid, and can be used to tow but has a weight capacity of 2,000 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs so you would not be able to exceed those numbers.
In order to tow a trailer you will also need Wiring Harness # C56247 to add a... view full answer...
