Question:

I referenced this question: I have a follow up question... I just bought the stealth hitch with the towing option. I do not have the black wire to run to the battery as a part of the harness and mine did not come with the fuse holder to run to the battery. Is it now incorporated with the harness that plugs in in back? Maybe the newer ones do not need to have a separate line that goes to the battery? The only wires my harness has that are not a part of the wired connector are the blue and purple. Thanks

I just spoke to Stealth Hitches about their Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # 391HYUNPALIS19T and they are updating the wiring in their Towing Kit # 391CONVPT5L to no longer require the power wire to run with the inline fuse to the battery connection.

They are still in the process of making these changes to their instructions but you can confirm that you do have the black power wire that does connect into the vehicle connector. And that you do have 12 volt power to the blade in the 1 o'clock position on your 7-way connector when the ignition is on in your 2021 Hyundai Palisade.
