Tony, maintenance is pretty light for the Velit RV Heaters like gasoline model # VE46QV and diesel model # VE66QV.
The manual says to:
-Run it once a month for 15 minutes, even off-season, to keep the pump and motor happy.
-Replace the fuel filter every 2 years.
-Inspect intake/exhaust for debris regularly.
-After about 10 years, replace the heat exchanger, exhaust pipe, and sensor.
If you keep it clean and give it that monthly run, you’ll avoid most potential issues. Are you planning... view full answer...
Unfortunately, I have no way to know what exact AC setup you have on your 2021 Keystone Passport SL Series travel trailer. You are likely going to have an air distribution box on your ceiling below the air conditioner which will house a filter. We have them in a few different size which I have listed below you can compare with your filter.
Replacement 14" x 7-1/2" Carbon Air Filter for Dometic # RA43QV
Replacement 16-1/2" x 6" Air Filters for Coleman Mach # RA68QV
Replacement 16" x 4"... view full answer...
Hey Diane. The Replacement Grille and Filter item # ADV54FR is the only way we carry the foam filter for a Advent Air Distribution Box like item # ACDB. This filter installs inside the air distribution box and will work with both the 13,500 and 15,000 Btu models.

Mike, the Velit doesn’t ship with a separate fuel tank. The kit includes the heater, fuel pump, fuel filter, exhaust, intake, wiring harness, and hardware. If you’re running gas or diesel from your vehicle’s main tank, you’ll install a standpipe into it. If you want an independent setup say for a trailer, you’d supply your own small tank.
Is this going in a van or more of a cargo trailer build? That’ll help me recommend the right tank size.

Unfortunately, the Atwood AT15084 is going to be an obsolete part as Atwood is no longer in business. If your frame is in good condition you may be able to mount some filter material to it so that you will not have to replace the AC. view full answer...
Hey Patricia! Are you looking for filters for AC ducts in your ceiling? We have the Replacement Air Filters for Round RV Air Conditioner Ducts - 5-1/4" Diameter # RA28QV or # RA88QV but you would need to measure to see if these work. We don't have a way of knowing what kind of vents you have in your 5th wheel. If you're looking for something else or have different measurements feel free to reach out in the comments below. view full answer...
Maybe some of it, but the 4D heater # AU96MR not plug-and-play. You’ll definitely need to replace:
-All electrical components - Autoterm uses specific control logic
-Fuel pump and hoses
-Possibly the ducting - the Air 4D requires 90mm minimum
Exhaust and intake sizes might also differ. The swap is worth it for reliability, but don’t reuse anything critical. I'd honestly just plan on swapping everything out since this kit includes everything you need. Also some of your old kit might... view full answer...
The manually controlled Air Distribution Box # FACT11MA-PS does not include a freeze sensor or a way to add this type of sensor. You would need to install a Controller # FACC12SA-BL which communicates with a Thermostat # FR33PR to have a freeze sensor.
As long as you are cleaning the coils on your rooftop air conditioner, cleaning the air filter and not running the AC on max cool for long periods of time this should help to reduce the coil from freezing. view full answer...
Kara, the Air 2D # AU56MR kit comes with the core components: exhaust and intake pipes, wiring harness, fuel pump, control panel, and a basic length of 60mm hot air duct. But if you’re heating multiple zones or mounting far from where the air enters your van, you’ll probably want more ducting or a splitter.
Same goes for the Air 4D # AU96MR, just has upsized to 90mm.
Travelbox # AU36MR also comes with everything necessary for installation. Only difference is that it stays outside and... view full answer...
Hello Steve. We do offer vent fans such as the MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-04401M which can be mounted on a side wall. That said, all of the fans we offer need to be wired to a power source, and we do not have anything with a rechargeable battery. These vents are reversable so they can bring air in or out.
Just keep in mind that these vents are designed to be mounted on a roof. You will need to make sure your wall is thick enough (at least 1" thick). Also, mounting... view full answer...
Hi Chris,
You can replace just the city water inlet, you don't have to replace the entire thing with the # A01-2004BKVP you mentioned.
You'll need to find the right size and fitting, however, such as the Valterra RV City Water Inlet - 2-3/4" Metal Flange - Brass FPT # A01-0171LFVP. This part has a 1/2" FPT brass check valve but also includes an adapter for an MPT connection and has a 2-3/4" diameter flange.
I have added a link below to all of our city water inlets which you can filter... view full answer...
Great question — and kudos for taking maintenance seriously! For full-time use (in your case, 4–6 hours/day), here’s the typical schedule for the QD 8000 # CM44RR:
Oil change and oil filter change: every 150 hours or once a year - whichever comes first
Air filter: check every 150 hours, replace as needed
Fuel filter: every 500 hours
Valve adjustment: every 500 hours
Cummins offers full service kits — we recommend keeping an extra oil filter and fuel filter on board just in case. I... view full answer...
Hey Ryan. If you want to run a duct to a separate compartment you'll also need to run a duct to the main room your AC is going to be in. You can't duct off the air boxes on the AC's and leave them open it's one or the other. You could try to block off half of the AC opening but I can't guarantee you're going to get much air forced down the duct.
For a ducted or ductless setup, I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System item # ADV62SR in black or item # ADV92SR in white. These... view full answer...
Hi Pete; there are quite a few reasons this could be happening with your Cummins Onan QG 4000i # CM42ZR. I would start by checking the oil level. One of the most common problems is too much oil or too little. If you just filled it and it is sitting right at full you might want to suck out a little of the oil and see if that fixes it.
You may also have stale fuel if it has been sitting for a while, a clogged fuel filter, dirty carburetor, or a dirty air filter restricting the air flow.... view full answer...
The compressor with the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000 has a 9% max duty cycle at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and 100psi.
For the mud if it were to block the air filter or completely encase the compressor it would cause it to fail or overheat. You might consider mounting it in the engine bay if that stays free of mud. view full answer...
There are a few things you can try to keep your Furrion AC like # FR58PR from cycling on and off repeatedly. The first thing you should do is check the air filter and make sure it is clean.
After that, go ahead and double check your wiring connections. Make sure nothing is loose or damaged. If that checks out, it is possible it is a bad thermostat or control board. These come with a 2 year warranty so if it is a newer unit those issues would be covered.
Another possibility is that it... view full answer...
Hi Tony!
I did a lot of searching for the lid to that fits your Shurflo Polar-Aire 1, but came up dry. It looks like these were discontinued quite some time ago and the replacement bits are gone, unfortunately. Unless you are able to locate one somewhere, the only option I am seeing is a full replacement. Especially with the unique design of the hinge on the lid.
I was able to find a service manual for Shurflo though, so I do have a good idea of what you would need if you decide to go... view full answer...
Hey Stephen, check to make sure the AC unit drain lines aren't clogged. That can cause a unit to freeze up and stop working and is one of the more common reasons for it to happen. view full answer...
I'm sure you could probably modify your MaxxAir Vent to work with the Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit # FVK8017-00, but since these are entirely different systems your only plug and play solution is to get the motor that matches your vent. Also, I don't really recommend modifying an air vent unless you really know what you're doing.
Since the motor you're needing is about the same price as an entire new unit I recommend just replacing your entire vent if it's a little older so you know... view full answer...
