Hey Brandon, I would strongly recommend sticking with the Tekonsha RF brake controller part # TK94FR. We know this works really well and it sounds like it worked well for you too. The Curt Echo is not reliable enough for me to really ever recommend it for anyone. The Autowbrake part # 3430001 is a really solid option too but the overall feedback we've gotten is that the RF is best overall.
The Curt Truu Course part # C94VV is perfectly compatible with all of the mentioned controllers. view full answer...
We sure do!
For your 2018 Volvo XC60 I recommend the Stealth Hitch # SH87FR if you mainly intend to use it for a bike rack or a cargo carrier.
If you intend to tow with your Volvo, then I recommend the # SH87FRT which is the same hitch, but also comes with everything that you need for towing a trailer.
You will also want to verify the towing limits of your vehicle by checking your copy of the owner's manual. You will just need to follow whichever limit is lower, the vehicle's or the... view full answer...
Hello Jeff,
Then correct replacement for your Thule Aeroblade (not the edge) is the Replacement Rubber Strip for Thule Aero Load Bars 53" # TH853354407.
The Replacement Cover Strip with Pattern for Thule AeroBlade Edge Cross Bars - 59" Long # TH69JH is designed for the Edge, so it will not sit in the channel correctly.

Hello Randall, thanks for reaching out. The 4-pole T-Connectors like the Curt # C56355 are for brake lights, taillights and turn signals. This has nothing to do with the trailer brakes, so I am not sure what the person who left that review was referring to.
Running the black wire to the battery is a necessary step. The converter module needs a direct 12v power source, and the only way to get that is to go directly to the battery. We get asked this a lot because just like you, a lot of... view full answer...
If you have the factory 4-way installed on your XC60 then you can use a Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit - 10 Gauge, item # ETBC7, to complete the wiring for a 7-way connector and a brake controller. This kit includes all of the wiring, connectors, circuit breakers, and trailer connector needed for installation. I have posted instructions for installing the ETBC7 kit below.
If you do not have the OEM 4-Way wiring installed on your vehicle yet you can use the Curt Circuit Protected... view full answer...
I can get you setup to tow your travel trailer with your 2018 Volvo XC60. The answer to your first question is no, you cannot use a hitch receiver adapter to tow. I did check your owner's manual and your vehicle is rated to tow up to 3,500 lbs with a brake controller. (3,280 lbs if you will be towing 1,000m or higher, above sea level.) As a result, you should not have any problems towing the Geo Pro 15TB travel trailer.
In order to tow your travel trailer you will need a hitch and a ball... view full answer...
Hey Luis, for your 2017 Volvo XC60 we have the Tekonsha 4-way part # 118739 as our best option. This installs easily and comes with the most reliable converter box so it's the best way to go. Are you towing a camper? view full answer...
Hey Don, to control trailer brakes with your 2025 Volvo XC60 that has the tow package you would need to have a brake controller installed. For a vehicle like yours that doesn't have a brake controller install connector under the dash I'd go with a wireless brake controller like the Tekonsha RF controller part # TK94FR which just needs to plug into an active 7-way like you have. What are you towing? view full answer...
Both the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C92WR and Stealth Hitches # SH87FR will fit your 2021 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid. The Curt is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,000 lbs and tongue weight of 400 lbs. This hitch has a concealed cross tube so you will only see the receiver tube hanging down at rear of the vehicle.
The Stealth Hitch is not rated for towing without adding the towing kit. This has a maximum tongue weight of 600 lbs... view full answer...
Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. We do have a product that will help with this. Take a look at the following:
- Ball Mount for Stealth Hitches Hidden Receiver Hitch # 391BMU7S
This provides more rise than the standard ball mount that came with your hitch. This will raise the ball height to 20-1/2" when installed on a 2022 Volvo XC60. This will allow your trailer to be much closer to level. Typically, anything within 3" of level is considered safe to tow. view full answer...
My research on your vehicle indicates that suitably-equipped versions can tow as much as 3500-lbs, but I was not able to verify the XC60's quoted 162-lb tongue weight rating. If this is the figure that is indicated in your owner's manual (or confirmed by your dealership) then you will not be able to tow your 2500-lb trailer even with weight distribution.
Weight distribution can be used in instances where the tow vehicle's hitch receiver is specifically rated for use with such systems... view full answer...
It could be that the draw of the Curt T-Connector # C56355 on your 2012 Volvo XC60 that's causing the problem, but I will say that it's not uncommon for backup camera systems to be a bit finicky so I recommend disconnecting the tees of the Curt system from the tail lights on your XC60 and then running your camera system through the motions to see if you're still having issues or not. If you are then it's the camera system itself, but if you aren't then that means the Curt wiring is causing... view full answer...

Hey Tangier, it looks like he is using an 8 inch socket extension with a deep well 15 mm socket. If you don't have that length you can always stack shorter ones till you get the correct overall length. Or if you don't have any extensions it might be a good idea to grab a couple of varying lengths and you can stack them as needed. view full answer...

Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear the K-Source Mirrors # KS3990 are not working out. Looking at pictures of the 2025 Volvo XC60 Ultra I can see how the shape of the outer half of the mirror would be problematic.
That said, I do think the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors # CM11980-2 are actually the best alternative we offer. It uses two clamps that go on the top edge of the mirror. With the clamps spaced so close together it should have no problem gripping the top edge of... view full answer...
Rob, I believe the 55 mph speed rating is just a safety net. You can probably bump up your speed using good judgment. So like if you have a ton of cargo in the carrier you'll probably want to keep the speed down, but if not you can just go normal speeds. view full answer...
With the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # SH87FRT you do not have to attach the 7-way to the receiver in the vertical orientation. The kit was designed this way as it would allow for the receiver and 7-way to be completely hidden when not in use. You can use the included mounting bracket to fasten it in a horizontal position if you would prefer on your 2018 Volvo XC60.
The Curt Echo # C51180 can be used in the vertical mounting position but it will most likely not work... view full answer...
