It appears that none of the aftermarket manufacturers have a hitch option for your 2024 Volvo S60. I recommend visiting a local fabrication shop in your area to determine if they can help you with a Weld-On Receiver # E17.
If they determine there is no way to install a hitch below your chassis you will want to consider using a Yakima FullBack 2 # Y02634 or 3 # Y02633 bike rack which will mount to your trunk. These racks will require a Adapter Bar # Y02531 if you have an alternative or... view full answer...
For your 2013 Volvo S60 I actually recommend just going with the Draw-Tite Class III 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75916. This 2 inch hitch essentially has an identical mounting bracket design to the Curt 1-1/4" Hitch # C12066 you referenced, so it's not going to stick out any further. In fact based on installations we have performed with both hitches the Draw-Tite will likely be a bit more recessed behind the bumper than the smaller Curt model.
A 2" receiver is going to open up the door... view full answer...
Hey Vihan, yes the Rhino Rack roof rack part # RR32FE that you referenced does fit your 2017 Volvo S60 with a naked roof. This rack clamps to the door frames of your vehicle and does not require any mounting holes on the roof. view full answer...
Since you have an R model that has a body kit we can't guarantee any of the hitches we offer will fit without issue. It would appear they might fit but you'd have to cut up the body kit. Were you looking to carry a bike rack by chance? There are other options for that. view full answer...
Jenny, for your 2017 Volvo S60 I recommend checking out the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e77KR. This hitch has a class III 2" receiver opening, a max weight capacity of 3,500 lbs, and a max tongue weight of 350 lbs. view full answer...
While I do not see any aftermarket manufacturers with a trailer hitch receiver for your 2020 Volvo S60, you may still be able to have one fabricated at a nearby fabrication shop. The Weld-On Receiver # E17 may help them to create a custom hitch on your Volvo.
I recommend also installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56224 when you have the receiver fabricated. This will give you a 4-flat connector which connects to most small trailers. It will also allow for Auxiliary... view full answer...
Hi Kyle,
With the Volvo S80 being discontinued in 2016, finding a custom fit hitch is proving to be difficult. I saw that you ordered the Draw-Tite # 75916 and I am pretty sure it isn't going to work due to the different sizes of the vehicles it is designed to fit. There is a possibility it will work though, and if it does, please let me know.
If it doesn't end up working, you would need something like the Buyers Weld On Receiver # 337RT25806B. This would then need to be taken to a local... view full answer...
Hey Albert. The Hopkins pn 48847 corresponds to our Hopkins Tail Light Converter - LED Compatible item # HM48847, which is universal and used to separate brake and turn signal systems to a trailer's combined wiring setup. It doesn't have a 4-way connector.
To add a 4-way connector to your 2004 Volvo S60 you'll need the Hopkins Active Tail Light Converter with Install Kit item # 46255. The built in converter will do the same job as the item # HM48847. This harness is universal and has... view full answer...
Realistically there isn't much difference between the two extenders you referenced aside from price. Both are extenders that go from 1-1/4 to 2 inch and are both right at 6 inches in length.
If it were me I would go with the Curt # C45785 over the Tow Ready part # 80303. view full answer...
I recommend the Curt Custom Hitch, # 13268, for your 2010 Volvo XC60. This hitch comes with the complete hardware kit and installation instructions. It is a sturdy, square-tube design that remains mostly hidden once installed. I've attached a picture of this hitch installed on a 2011 Volvo XC60 so that you can see what it will look like. You can click on the part number to see the most current pricing.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12066 was only a fit for the 2nd generation of the Volvo S60 which ended in 2018. Your 2022 does have the same SPA chassis as the 2019 but the previous generation the receiver fit on is on a P3 chassis. As no one makes a custom fit receiver for your Volvo you can contact a local fabrication shop to see if they are able to create a receiver for you. We do have the 2" Receiver # E17 which can act as a base for having a custom fabricated receiver made. view full answer...
I have possible solution for you.
First, though, the Inno Ridge Rooftop Cargo Box, part # INBRA220R-BK, does not fit your crossbars, as you said. It fits spreads 30" from center to center, and your 2004 Volvo S60's bars sound like they are over that.
As for drilling, that can technically be done for any cargo box. However, we don't have any documentation for that with this box, so I can't guarantee it will work.
We do have experience with the Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier, part #... view full answer...
Hey Matthew, thanks for reaching out!
You can definitely use the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MAL25FR for a single kayak when you need to. Depending on the weight of your kayaks you may need to adjust the bunks for single kayak hauling and dual kayak hauling to make sure the trailer has a smooth towing experience. view full answer...
According to Thule, their OutWay Platform rack, part # TH65JV is a fit for both vehicles.
This being said, due to the heavyweight nature of this bike rack (almost 50 lbs), I typically don't recommend it for newer vehicles and vehicles with plastic clad bumpers as the weight can cause damage. It would be better suited to a larger SUV.
You should also take a look at the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms Item # Y02634. This 2-bike trunk rack weighs only 28 pounds... view full answer...
It appears you will need to have a custom receiver fabricated for your 2019 Volvo S60 T5 Inscription. We have the 1-1/4" # E-911 or 2" # E-9 receiver tube that you can use to have a receiver fabricated. Currently none of our aftermarket manufacturers are producing a receiver for your Volvo.
I was able to verify with Curt that their T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56224 will fit your Volvo and give you a 4-way flat connector. This will connect to the tail lights on most small trailers... view full answer...
To run the hot lead wire to your battery from the trunk, I recommend running the wire under the car versus inside the cabin of your vehicle and then back out. You will use existing grommets where available and then follow other wires through the channel up the firewall and to your battery. I recommend using zip ties to secure the wire as needed. I recommend using the fuse near the battery for easy access.
I've attached an article to help. view full answer...
Thank you for the photo of the display on your Curt TriFlex trailer brake controller # C24VV that shows what looks like a letter U. There is no such actual letter U among the various operating and troubleshooting codes so I think potentially what may have happened is that part of the display has failed, and it is no longer showing the entire code.
The nearest codes to what your unit shows are L.1., which indicates the unit's selected sensitivity level; and L.b., which indicates that the... view full answer...
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75916 does fit your 2016 Volvo S60 T6 AWD. It doesn't require any drilling but you will have to make a 2" x 2" cut for the receiver tube to extend below your Volvo's trim. Once the installation is complete you will not be able to see this cut unless you are looking up from underneath your car. I have linked an installation video along with the instructions. At the 8 minute mark is when you will see the necessary cuts being made. This... view full answer...
The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Thule Camber 2 part # TH9058. We asked our demo and install guys to name their favorite, most easy-to-use bike racks and this one showed up in nearly everyone's top three. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
For a hitch you would want the Draw Tite part # 75916 which attaches to the rear impact bar of the vehicle. I attached a diagram that shows this as well.
