Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today on this 2009 Dodge Journey, we're going to be installing the WeatherTech Floor Liners in the front seat, part number WT442241, black in color. We've already removed the older factory floor mats and we're ready to install the new WeatherTech Floor Liners. The WeatherTech Floor Liners are custom-mold to fit your vehicle and will often use the factory mounting points or hooks when applicable as seen here on the driver's side. The liner fits the contours and shapes of the vehicle's floor. Because the WeatherTech liners are molded to fit the shape of the vehicle's floor, they're not going to slide and move around like your typical floor mat will. The liner itself is molded into a tray shape and will help contain the dirt, mud, and debris that get trapped into your vehicle.
It has built-in channels and moldings that will also keep it towards the center of the mat and away from the edges. One more great feature of the WeatherTech Floor Liners is it can easily be removed and be cleaned. Unlike carpeted floor mats that need to be shampooed when they get soiled, the WeatherTech liners can easily be removed from the vehicle and hosed off. These WeatherTech liners also come in gray, part number WT462241, and tan, part number WT452241. And there you have it for our WeatherTech Floor Liners on the 2009 Dodge Journey..
