The Inno Ridge Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRA220R-BK will fit the OEM roof rack of your 2021 Tesla Model Y as long as the crossbars are between 20 and 30 inches apart. It looks like your spread is 35 inches though so a different box would be ideal like the # TH6356B would be what you'd want. view full answer...
The Curt cargo carrier part # C18100 is a lighter weight carrier due to it being made mostly out of aluminum. For a lighter weight option for your 2019 Tesla Model X with a hitch like the Draw Tite part # 76143 installed this would be a really great option. It weight just under 30 lbs.
For a hitch lock that doubles as an anti-rattle device the part # 63232 would be a great option as well. This holds the shank of the carrier to the hitch tube so that movement and noise is removed. I attached... view full answer...
To install the Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack # Y02637 on your 2018 Tesla Model S you will just need to make the Joe Measurement 14-7/8" and then change the hooks to anchor mode - the straps are long enough though and won't need to be exchanged for longer ones. I'm linking a video I made for the FullBack where I demonstrate what the anchor mode is at the 3:24 minute mark.
You will need to remove the bike rack prior to opening up your hatchback. This is the case for about 99% of trunk mount... view full answer...
It is possible to upgrade the hitch on your 2018 Tesla Model X with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit part # 76143 which rated for 5,000 lbs gross towing weight however you are only as strong as your weakest component and in this case that would be the vehicle itself.
I took a look at the online owner's manual for the 2018 Tesla Model X and according to Tesla the loaded weight of a trailer towed by the model X with 245/45R19 or 275/45R20 tires should never exceed... view full answer...
I have a solution for you.
First, though, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE, part # HLY84FR, is capable of handling your bikes. However, it requires a Class III hitch.
The good news is that we have a Class III hitch available for your 2021 Tesla Model Y. It's the Draw-Tite Max Frame, part # DT58MR. This has a tongue weight of 525 pounds, so you'll have no problem with a rack and heavy bikes. view full answer...
I would be happy to help you. There are three levels of hitches available for the 2022 Tesla Model 3. The Stealth hitch is by far the most premium option and it comes in two configurations.
The Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit item # 391TES317T comes with everything you need to tow a trailer or haul accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier. The best part of the Stealth Hitch is that the receivers are completely removable which gives your Tesla a factory... view full answer...
Yes, the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT23GR will fit your 2023 Model 3. The LFP battery has no impact on the installation of the hitch. However, unless you specifically need a 1-1/4" receiver, I would get a hitch like the # e33ZR with a 2" receiver instead. This will greatly increase your options for towing and accessories. view full answer...
Yep, you got it right. I can verify for you the correct trailer wiring harness for your 2023 Tesla Model 3 is the one you mentioned:

It sounds like you're looking for the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # TK92VR which is the same as part 118875 and a confirmed fit for a 2021 - 2023 Tesla Model Y. This harness is a plug-in play fit which does not require any splicing into the vehicle. Unfortunately, we don't have any review on the new model at this time.
If you don't already have a trailer hitch yet, I recommend the EcoHitch Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver part # EH39FR which has... view full answer...
The stock bumper beam/crash bar does not get put back on your 2021 Tesla Model Y when installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58MR.
The bumper beam will remain off, which is indeed different than the installation of the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH39FR.
The Draw-Tite hitch essentially replaces the bumper beam, while the EcoHitch fits in behind the beam. view full answer...
The correct trailer hitch for your 2020 Tesla Model Y is the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH39FR. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58MR you're looking at fits the 2021 and newer models. I did notice in the Draw-Tite instructions that it mentions fitting a 2020 model but when I reached out to my contact they said it's a misprint that they will be fixing.
The EcoHitch has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs and a towing weight capacity of 3,500 lbs which seem... view full answer...
I took a look at the owner's manual for your Tesla Model Y, and saw the 160 lb tongue weight rating for accessories and the 350 lb tongue weight rating while towing, which would seem to indicate that the limiting factor would be the Tesla's factory hitch. However, I'd recommend confirming this with Tesla.
The EcoHitch # EH39FR has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity which would be plenty to handle the 295 lb weight you describe. If your Tesla dealer is fine with the approximately 300 lbs of... view full answer...
The bumper beam on your 2023 Tesla Model Y being replaced by the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58MR should not affect your vehicle warranty. The design is similar to the factory receiver Tesla installs on their vehicle from the factory. The only way I can see it voiding your warranty is if you were using the receiver in a manner that exceeds the factory towing capability from Tesla and caused damage to the vehicle. view full answer...
The B&W silencer pad, part # BWTS35025, fits all of the 2-1/2 inch B&W Tow & Stow ball mounts, like part # BWTS20049B as an example. With that being said, since trailer hitch pin holes aren't all at the exact same depth sometimes you need more than one spacer to fill the gap. The spacer itself is a 1/2 inch thick. view full answer...
The Mighty Mount 39H Accessory Adapter # Y03539 will fit the OEM aero-style crossbars on your 2022 Tesla Model 3 but for a better fit I recommend using the 23H Adapters # Y03523 instead. These are essentially the same thing but they also come with shims that are sometimes needed for factory crossbars as they tend to be a little more slender than the JetStream or CoreBar crossbars from Yakima. view full answer...
At this time, the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH39FR is not confirmed to fit the 2023 Tesla Model Y. It is possible it will fit, but we have not had a chance to install one and EcoHitch has not tested it yet. However, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58MR will fit your vehicle.
The Draw-Tite hitch features a bolt-on installation and will be completely hidden once installed, just like the EcoHitch. It has the same maximum gross trailer weight and a slightly... view full answer...
Like you said the use of a weight distribution system depends on the vehicle specifications. I checked with Tesla and they do not recommend the use of one due to the unibody construction. Weight distribution systems transfer a portion of the weight of the trailer to the vehicle. A bumpy road will transfer a lot of stress into the unibody of the Model X. The reason that's considered detrimental is that the entire body will bend and twist repeatedly, and could eventually fail.

Yes, it is. The EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch item # EH39FR is custom fit and bolts to your 2023 Tesla Model Y with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight.

The Kuat Piston Pro X Bike Rack # KU98VR is an excellent selection and will work great with your 2022 Tesla Model Y both in the folded up and flat positions, but I'll go ahead and give you the dimensional numbers so you can verify on your end and have some peace of mind prior to purchasing.

Yes, the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT will work with your 2023 Tesla Model Y and it does come with a converter. I don't know why our site lists it like that but we are changing it to be more accurate.
The converter and module are built into the bigger black box that all of the wiring is connected to, and since this is specially designed to protect vehicle wiring it's perfect for all electric vehicles like your Model Y. view full answer...
