I checked with Yakima and to mount your existing JayHook Kayak Carrier to the aero-style crossbars on your Subaru Outback you just need the HullRaiser Conversion Kit # Y8860031 and Plug Kit # Y8890058. This will replace the original mounting hardware on the carrier with top and bottom brackets that secure to the factory bars on your Outback.
