Hi Chuck!
I wasn't sure what the Replacement Cleat for Yakima EXO GearWarrior Basket # Y46QJ was made of, so I asked Yakima. Turns out, they are aluminum and painted black.
What happened to the original one? view full answer...
The Thule Spare me bike rack # TH963PRO used the One-Key System for its locks. It has locks to secure the rack and your bikes. It uses a locking hand knob to secure the rack to the mounting plate. It also has an integrated cable lock to secure your bikes to the rack. I have included a link to a video review of this rack for you. view full answer...
While the SportRack Horizon Rooftop Cargo Box # SR7011 will fit the factory installed roof rack on your 2019 Mazda CX-3, it's just a little too long to allow you to fully open your rear hatch. For the hatch to fully open with the # SR7011 installed, there must be at least 52-1/2 inches measured from the center of the front crossbar to the line where the roof and hatch meet (see photo). If you can live with that, the roof box will otherwise fit nicely around your factory cross bars and will... view full answer...
Hey Bill,
Most likely the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00 would affect the fitment of your shocks. I wasn't able to see a picture of the suspension but I'm assuming they probably mount to the axle tie-plate and frame? The conversion kit is going to place the axle further from the frame so the shock's connection to the axle would likely have to be altered. If you want to send me some pictures of your suspension I'd be happy to take a look. view full answer...
The AirBedz Rear Seat Air Mattress, # 341033 is confirmed to fit the 2017 Mazda CX-3. This mattress has dimensions of 55 long x 35-1/2 wide x 17-3/4 tall, inflatable mattress products have dimensions that can change slightly depending on your chosen inflation pressure. This means they naturally provide some flexibility in their fit in any given vehicle. view full answer...
Between the two hitches that fit your 2018 Mazda CX-3 the Curt, part # C11418, is tucked under the rear bumper by about an inch more than the Draw-Tite, part # 24933. Although I feel like the Curt is still more obvious to the eye because it has the thick outer collar around the receiver opening. I've attached pictures of them both installed so you can see the difference.
Additionally, a hitch that sits closer to the bumper's edge is generally considered better for bike racks so the rack... view full answer...
Between these two parts, the SmarT-Slot, part # Y03098 and the Replacement Mount kit, part # 8860085, the primary difference is the height at which they sit. The FatCat 6 will operate normally. Both of these kits will allow you to channel mount the FatCat 6 on your aero style crossbars.
The Replacement Mount kit, part # 8860085 is likely the better choice if you have higher bindings as it sits taller than the SmarT-Slot kit, allowing you to clear the roof with the taller bindings. view full answer...
The MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose for Small Appliance - Disposable Cylinder Port - 6' # 100476-72-MBS is a great hose to have for your gas grill so you don't need to deplete the propane supply of your trailer tanks.
For your gas line, you will want the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Connector - 1/4" FPT # 104052-MBS but you would need to find the adapter to 1/4 inch at a local home improvement store. view full answer...
Yes absolutely. As you can see in the attached demonstration video that the Yakima FatCat EVO 4 Ski and Snowboard Carrier # Y03095 can easily fit 1 snowboard along with a couple pairs of skis; the video shows 2 snowboards being stacked on top and there is still room for 3 pairs of skis to be mounted. view full answer...
We cannot recommend you exceed the 200 lb tongue weight of the hitch that fits your 2019 Mazda CX-3, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24933.
It is not designed to have that much weight so there's no telling if the structure can be impacted. This is the only available capacity for your CX-3, so if you want to haul your dirt bike with this vehicle the best option really is a trailer.
To do that you will need the hitch, along with T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118718, Draw-Tite Drawbar... view full answer...
The best hitch option for your 2019 Mazda CX3 is Curt hitch part # C11418. Both the Draw-Tite and Curt option for the Mazda are Class I options and can handle up to 200 lbs of tongue weight. I recommend the Curt hitch because installation takes less time compared to the Draw-Tite option. The Curt hitch hardware is easier to access when it is time to torque down the bolts during installation. I have attached an installation video of the Curt hitch on a 2017 Mazda CX-3.
The Curt option... view full answer...
On your Yakima Hold-Up Bike Rack # Y02445 and others with an anti-rattle feature the anti-rattle device in the shank applies pressure to push the rack's shank against the inside of the hitch receiver tube. This pressure can cause some slight tilting of the rack, especially if the hitch tube is not perfectly level. This in itself is not a problem.
Your hitch has no adjustment capability; it has one place to install and no user-adjustments are possible. view full answer...
Curt trailer hitch # C11418 is a fit for the 2018 Mazda CX-3. I have linked a video showing an example installation on a 2016 and the process will be basically the same on your 2018.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050... view full answer...
The Rhino Rack ROC25 part # RR46XR has a 165 lb dynamic weight capacity which means that's how much it can carry while travelling and incurring the standard bumps and movement that creates. While Rhino Rack doesn't give a static weight capacity our roof rack tents like the Yakima SkyRise HD part # Y07437 require roof racks that have a 165 lb capacity like the Rhino Rack and then have a total weight capacity of 600 lbs. view full answer...
Were you using the required stabilizer strap part # 18050 when carrying your Kuat NV part # NV12G with the Curt hitch part # C11418? Curt requires you use this strap to basically help prevent the weight from damaging the hitch and vehicle like you were experiencing. Also, were you driving on any rough roads? You should note that none of the hitches or racks we offer will be able to withstand any off-roading. At this point though your frame is damaged to the point I would not recommend installing... view full answer...
Both the Curt # C11418 and Draw-Tite # 24933 trailer hitch receivers install into the same location as each other on your 2016 Mazda CX-3. However, the Draw-Tite does not require the use of the support strap # 18050 like the Curt does.
Both racks are Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch receivers so I doubt you will have a much different ride using the Draw-Tite instead of the Curt.
Have you tried an anti-rattle device on the bike rack? If you can tell me the make and model of the bike rack we... view full answer...
The Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # TT53012C are not directional, so they can be mounted in any direction. However, they are designed to be run at 80 psi and in order to prevent uneven wear or damage to the tires should always be run at the recommended pressure. I'll also say that boat trailer wheels are typically not rated for specific air pressures since they're generally well rated for any tire they encounter. The more likely issue here is the valve stems that... view full answer...
When Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24933 is installed only the receiver will be showing on your 2016 Mazda CX-3. I have included a picture from the instructions showing he hitch installed for you.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch. view full answer...
With Curt hitch # C11418 installed on a 2016 Mazda CX-3 the lower fascia is still attached elsewhere on the vehicle and it will also be resting on top of the hitch receiver. There isn't room to replace the brackets that were removed to install the hitch.
It does not appear to be an issue with Draw-Tite hitch # 24933 and I have linked that video for you as well.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory... view full answer...
