The Draw-Tite item # DT73QR installs below the bumper. This hitch is perpetually backordered due to Draw-Tite being bought out so I have a way better option for a hitch for your 2023 Lexus RX 350. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C29VV. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Lexus with included hardware.
I really like this hitch because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver visible. This not only looks better it also helps with ground clearance.... view full answer...
Hello Tom,
Congrats on the new Lexus RX 350. Not a whole lot of cars grab my attention on the road, but the new grille on the RX 350 gets me every time!
Our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e29ZV is listed as a 4 out of 10 for difficulty. No drilling is required, you will however need to lower the exhaust to install.
I do not have an install video on our etrailer hitch, but it is identical to the Curt # C29VV (the only difference is... view full answer...
I have taken a look at the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 75540. This hitch is confirmed to fit your 2022 Lexus RX 350 and it does require some minor trimming of the lower portion of the rear trim. I have linked a couple of pictures and one with included dimensions of the required cut. The receiver is only 2" x 2" so you won't have to make a 3" cut like the instructions say. It's alright if you make a smaller cut that is just enough for the receiver to not rub on the trim. view full answer...
It sounds like you have the older Thule Vertex or Apex swing bike rack that had the cradles spaced closer together. The Thule Apex Swing XT # TH9027XT is an upgraded version that has an increased spacing of 7" for the cradles. While this does help to make loading bikes easier, if you're trying to load up 4 adult bikes you will still have a bit of a time loading them up.
I recommend using a platform bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Destination # HR4000 which can hold 35 lb bikes and then... view full answer...
Hey Scott, the only difference between the etrailer # e29ZV and the Curt # C29VV is the powder coat finish like you noticed. The Curt has a gloss finish and the etrailer a matte finish. Aside from that there's no difference in design or materials used. The matte is a little more hidden than the gloss so that would be what I would recommend. Plus it doesn't hurt the price is better.
For trailer wiring we only have universal kits like the Curt # C59236 which will work great but do require... view full answer...
You should have a simple bolt on installation for the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75540 on your 2020 RX 350 F Sport. While we have not installed the receiver on an F-Sport trim in our shop we have received several reviews mentioning how easy the installation was with no cutting required. view full answer...
Yes, the Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S64671 is a great economical rack to use on your 2021 Lexus RX 350 with a 2-inch hitch receiver. As far as installing and removing your hitch to your vehicle, all it requires is for you to slide the shank of the rack into the hitch receiver and place the hitch pin into the pinhole of the receiver. Since the Swagman XTC2 only weighs 30 pounds, it is easily manageable to lift. As far as traveling at high... view full answer...
No, it does not. The Draw-Tite Hitch item # DT73QR does not require you to drop the exhaust when installing it on your 2023 Lexus RX 350. I have linked the instructions below so you can take a look at them. view full answer...
Thank you for purchasing Curt hitch # C13143 and 4-pole wiring harness kit # 118255 for your 2015 Lexus RX 350 F Sport without factory tow package.
We shoot installation videos as local customers bring in their vehicles. We may not always have access to a specific vehicle (or a specific version of one, such as the F Sport) to make a video for all compatible cars but we do have a video showing hitch installation on a 2015 Lexus RX 350 and this is linked for you along with the written... view full answer...
I would be happy to help you find a roof rack for your 2022 Lexus RX 350. I recommend a kit from Thule that is designed specifically for your Lexus by attaching to your roof rails and it will also accommodate your panoramic glass sunroof.
Fit Kit for Thule Evo Flush Roof Rack Feet - 186044 item # TH186044. These custom clips and pads let you mount Thule Evo Flush feet on your Lexus with flush, factory side rails. Clips attach to a mounting bolt in the foot assembly and tighten together... view full answer...
Both the 2012 and 2014 model years of the Lexus RX 350 are part of the vehicle's third generation, spanning 2008 through 2015 model years. Despite this, wiring harness fits are not shared.
My contact at Tow Ready suggested you check for a wiring connector right behind the rear bumper. Even though you do not have the tow package this connector may still be there. (Exactly what is included in a tow package can vary from year to year and model to model.) If so you can use # 56083 from Curt.... view full answer...
Thanks for your question, Sam.
After looking at all the hitches we offer and how they install, all of them would lead to needing to do some sort of cutting to the bumper in some way. Our website doesn't state that the EcoHitch would need trimming, but based off it's design and comparing them to the other we carry, you would still need to do some trimming for hitch part # EH95KR. view full answer...
The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2018 Lexus RX 350 is the etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch # e94AR because it has great towing capacities, installs easily, and because it has a concealed cross tube which means it won't be quite as visible as most hitches. I attached the installation instructions for you to check out.
For trailer wiring I recommend the T-One kit part # 118252 which is a confirmed fit for your RX 350 as long as you have the factory tow package. It installs without... view full answer...
Hey Ernie, so I would have to recommend you stick with the install instructions if you can when you install the # 75540 since that is how the hitch was tested and designed for. Now with that said if it was me and I found a way to use spacers to not have to cut the bumper I probably would as well but that's something you'd have to use your best judgment on and we don't have any spacer or instructions to go along with that. Let me know which way you decide to go with it though. view full answer...
Hey James! The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT73QR fits all models of the 2026 Lexus RX 350 including your non-hybrid. The installation does not require lowering the exhaust so you won't have to worry about that either.

You will still be able to access the spare tire on your 2009 Lexus RX 350 after installing Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # 13530. If you refer to the linked photo you can see the hitch and tire positions after installation. The spare can be removed for a tire change by simply letting the forward edge drop first and then maneuvering the tire past the exhaust and the hitch cross tube. view full answer...
Hey Max, you would want to install a trailer hitch on your 2020 Lexus RX 350 like the part # C73DR so that you can install a hitch mounted bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z to carry your bike. There are no trunk mounted bike racks that are a fit for your vehicle. view full answer...
Actually, the only trailer hitch currently available that's confirmed to fit the F Sport model of your 2017 Lexus RX 350 is the Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver; either the part # 391LXRX16T if you ever plan on doing any towing or # 391LXRX16 if you only plan on using it for hitch-mounted accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier. Both offer a 350 pound tongue weight capacity (along with a 3,500 pound towing limit for the # 391LXRX16T) and feature a completely hidden design when not in... view full answer...
I do have a solution for you. While the Thule OutWay 3-Bike Rack # TH56BV is not a confirmed fit for your 2011 Lexus RX 350.
My recommendation would be the Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Rack # SA803. This rack is sturdy, capable of carrying 3 bikes at 33 lbs each and yet is still lightweight at 11 lbs which makes mounting to your Lexus easier. Saris provides a limited lifetime warranty as well so they stand behind their product quality.

Hi John!
We definitely have hitches available for your 2026 Lexus RX350h and the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e29ZV is a great option. The matte finish makes our hitches blend in better than the gloss finish other manufacturers use, so I very much prefer them.
As to your first question, any hitch will interfere with kick sensors. However, I have been doing this for over a decade now and have never seen that sensor be completely negated.... view full answer...
