The LED taillights often have this hyperflashing issue. To solve it, you simply need to add a load resistor like # DI34ZR. You will need one resistor for each side and this kit comes with 2. This will draw more power from your system so you won't get that hyperflashing. I've attached a diagram on correctly installing these load resistors. view full answer...
Hey Whit, thanks for reaching out. We do indeed have a hidden hitch for the 2022 BMW X3 M, although it is not the "hidden hitch" brand from Draw-Tite. What we have is the Stealth Hitch Class 4 Hitch # SH59VR. The hitch itself installs behind the bumper and it has a removable 2" receiver, so the hitch will be completely hidden when not in use.
Just keep in mind that if you need to tow a trailer, you will need to use the Towing Kit # SH58VR. The 2" receiver that comes with the stealth hitch... view full answer...
I would be happy to Steve and congrats on the new car. To add a hitch to your 2026 Subaru Outback, I recommend our etrailer item # e25TR.
Our etrailer Hitch item # e25TR is a custom fit 2" hitch that will bolt to your Outback with included hardware. This hitch has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight so it'll work great for towing a small trailer or hauling an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier.
If you also need trailer wiring, I recommend the Curt... view full answer...
Hey, Jeff.
Yes, if your trailer has electric brakes, you will also need a brake controller to be able to control them. For a traditional controller, I recommend the Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C67PQ. You will need to hardwire this in and also mount it on your dash.
If having a controller mounted on your dash isn’t something you want, then I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR. This controller uses a knob that can be mounted anywhere on your dash, making for a... view full answer...
Hey Ryan, how long was it attached before it seemingly got stuck? Enough time for some corrosion to get in there or do you think it's a release mechanism that is acting up? Was it releasing like normal at one point or has it been an issue this whole time? view full answer...
I checked with Yakima and the Fullback 2 part # Y02634 is a confirmed fit and would not damage the spoiler. If you check out the picture I attached that shows this rack installed on an X3 like yours you'll see that the strap does not put a lot of downward force on the spoiler.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes... view full answer...
Hello Michael,
Happy to get the right tow package together for your move to a different state. I would like to mention that just because the hitch is rated for a specific weight does not mean your car can tow that much, you will need to check your owners manual to see what BMW says you can tow, you are only as strong as your weakest link.
The highest rated hitch we for your 2021 BMW X3 M40i is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76226.

Hey Michael! The etrailer Electric Trailer Jack w/ 7-Way # e74GV you were looking at will definitely have enough lift for your Coleman 13R. This is a great option if you just want to power the jack off the 7-way on your vehicle instead of running it to the trailer battery.
If you would rather have a hard-wired option the # e23ZV would be a better choice. This will be permanently connected to the battery on your trailer. Both will fit the standard A-frame jack mounting holes on the tongue... view full answer...
Hey Dennis, I would be glad to help pick out a hitch for your 2024 BMX X3! All three of those hitches are pretty similar but I like the consistent higher quality of the Curt hitches so I would go with the part # C13387 from them which also happens to have the best price. The handsfree liftgate will still function but you may have to kick to either side of the hitch opening.
Then for trailer wiring you'd want the Tekonsha part # TK54ZR which is the easiest to install and has most reliable... view full answer...
Hey Roy, congrats on the new SUV! Listed below are the parts you'll need to add a roof rack to your 2026 BMW X3 that will allow you to have enough clearance for a lift assist kayak carrier or two. This setup is designed for the 2026 X3's with flush factory rails installed on the roof.

Hi Gregg; aside from the trimming of the underbody panel the installation of the # DT56GR will not change your 2025 BMW X3 xDrive. Everything will still function as it does now. The only difference will be the added ability to carry accessories like a bike rack or tow a trailer.
What do you plan on using the hitch for? view full answer...
Hey Mark, yes the Draw Tite Hidden Hitch part # DT56GR that you referenced is a totally hidden hitch that fits your 2026 BMW X3. When not in use you can remove the lower hitch opening and it would be totally invisible. Are you planning on doing some towing? view full answer...
It will; what is happening is the tongue weight is creating the "V" you mentioned, so you are not towing level, and a weight distribution system is exactly what you need. This will level you out, and for your 330 lb loaded tongue weight, you do have the correct Fastway system:
- Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0450
The # FA92-00-0450 will correct the "V" and ensure your Jayco is level, and even though you mentioned you didn't have sway on your last trip,... view full answer...
Hey Robert,
We can get your 2024 BMW X3 set up with a Thule trunk-mounted bike rack, though the Gateway Pro is not a fit, which I verified directly with Thule for you. The trunk-mounted rack they do have which fits your '24 X3 is the OutWay:

It sure will Lee! The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236 is indeed compatible with your 2025 BMW X3 M50 that doesn't have the factory towing package.
The Tail Light Converter item # C59236 is designed to adapt the complex BMW X3's LED lighting signals into a standard 4-way flat trailer connector by splicing into BMW's factory wiring. To protect the sensitive electrical components, the item # C59236 draws power directly from your BMW's battery.
What kind of trailer are you... view full answer...
Hello Robert, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch # 76226 will indeed fit your 2021 BMW X3 xDrive30e. I double checked with Draw-Tite and they confirm it to work with the xDrive30e model, so it'll install without issue.
What will you be using the hitch for? Towing a trailer? view full answer...
Hi Jeffrey!
TO get the towing set up for your 2023 BMW X3, you will need to add on the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring # 391CONVD5 with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH46FR.
If your X3 is an M model, you can actually order it all as one part with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2" # SH45VR. This is slightly different from the above parts though, so if you do not have the M model, you will need to... view full answer...
Hello Andrew, thanks for reaching out. The TireMinder TPMS sensors are fine to use with rubber valve stems. The sensors are not heavy enough to cause issues. That said, the Wheel Masters Support Brackets for Rubber Valve Stems # WM8029VS will help to increase stability and reduce vibration at the valve stem so those would be a good add on to use in tandem with your TPMS. view full answer...
Hey Gregg, welcome back! The first thing you need to do is add a 4-way. You can use the Curt # C59236 which splices in or the # 119250KIT which uses sensors that clamp onto your vehicle wiring. Once you have your 4-way installed you can use the # ETBC7 to upgrade it to a 7-way. This comes with the adapter, wiring, breakers, and everything else required for installation.
Do you already have a brake controller? If you don't, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. The main unit... view full answer...
Hey Chris, thanks for reaching out. What you’re experiencing is normal behavior on BMWs when using a non-OEM trailer wiring setup. The # TK77FR harness provides trailer lighting only and does not communicate with the vehicle’s CAN bus or place the X3 into a true trailer mode. Because of that, the vehicle briefly detects a load and may momentarily show the trailer camera, but it never fully disables the rear parking sensors or automatic braking. As a result, the car still interprets the... view full answer...
