Question:
Will this work with a 2025 BMW X3 M50 that has no factory tow package installed? Thanks!

It sure will Lee! The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter item # C59236 is indeed compatible with your 2025 BMW X3 M50 that doesn't have the factory towing package.
The Tail Light Converter item # C59236 is designed to adapt the complex BMW X3's LED lighting signals into a standard 4-way flat trailer connector by splicing into BMW's factory wiring. To protect the sensitive electrical components, the item # C59236 draws power directly from your BMW's battery.
What kind of trailer are you pulling or are you adding lights for an accessory like a bike rack? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

Lee, Yes, I have used this harness very successfully. The installation wasn't tough, finding the right wires to connect into was really important. I keep it stored in a side pocket in my back hatch when not using it. I only use it occasionally maybe a dozen times per summer.

Hi Jerred, Thanks very much for the reply. Sounds good. My plan is to put a dirtbike on a hitch carrier. but I want the option to put extra brake lights on the back. Do you know if this kit will stop the back up guide from alarming went in reverse because the car will think that there is something super close because of the bike on the hitch? Or is that something that I have to go through BMW for to get corrected? Finally, what is the typical install time for somebody that knows what they are doing on this product? Thanks again, Lee
