Ordered this product along with a hitch lock. Both arrived timely and are exactly what we ordered. Prior to ordering, I was chatting with a rep as I was unsure of what to order. He was great and was patient with all of my questions. This is one a few orders from etrailer and have been very happy with what we ordered. The tow hitch and the wireing harnesh also arrived timely and was easy to install. We also ordered a manual roof vent and am happy with what was received. At this point we don't have our trailer but we are on a way to being prepared.
Note: Found the website to be very easy to use and customer service to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Good product, not great. Did it’s intended job, protecting my trailer at bike week, while not breaking the bank. It works as intended, but when dealing w/ security of property I like something very robust... this is lightweight and gives me the impression of less security. It’s always a balance, and if I were protecting something Very valuable... I might spring for a more robust unit, but it did the job. I have not used it since.
Trailer Wheel Lock is Durable and Heavy. Excellent product
I haven’t been using this device because it is difficult to create a snug fit and hard to lock and unlock. I purchased a good hitch lock that is much easier to use and secures our travel trailer. This device has several “notches” where it locks. If your tire is in between two of those positions, you are forced to loosen it to the next wider setting making it fit the tire and wheel loosely.
Works as advertised. Easy on and off. It’s hard to conclude any causal relationship between the use of this product and the absence of theft. My trailer is still here. Could be just luck or because of this lock. Coincidence or cause and effect? I don’t know but I’m satisfied. One side benefit is that it also acts as a secondary wheel chock for added security when parked on a slope. It should not be used instead of a wheel chock, but in addition to one. My trailer is parked on a hill with two wheel chocks and this wheel lock. The trailer hasn’t moved. I would recommend this product.
I can't believe for the price how wonderful this product is. I feel safe leaving my trailer hitched up to my truck out in my driveway every night because no one is going to be able to steal it. I highly recommend it. I have used it every single day for the past year and it is still in excellent condition despite being out in the rain, heat, cold, etc. In fact, I am getting ready to purchase a second trailer for my landscaping business and I am going to buy another on of the these for the new trailer!
This trailer wheel lock works great and is all your ad said it would be. I purchased two of them. One for my son and one for me.

Devices are working as advertisedl Very satisfied with them.
Unfortunetly, yes, our trailer was stolen. We had the wheel lock on, and an inexpensive hitch lock. They used bolt cutters on the hitch lock, backed up, hitched the trailer up and took off with the wheel lock still on. The wheel lock broke apart into pieces as they drove off. We know have a much beefier ($250)hitch lock. We pretty much gave up on the wheel lock.
I purchased this wheel lock for a small cargo trailer I pull behind my small motorhome. It allows me to securely leave my trailer at my campsite while I travel around. It works well and I'm happy with my purchase.

Working great. Easy to operate, yellow maybe looks a tad garish but thats the point, right?
This item works well. It appears to lock in a way that would take some time and effort with the proper force tools to get it off the trailer wheel. As with all locks, this is simply a deterrent, but does offer something else for the thieves to get past.

I used the wheel lock on a cross country trip to help secure our trailer at every overnight hotelmotel stop. It worked well as we had no theft issues. The lock itself has remained in good condition and continues to work just fine.
Since you asked.... total POS. I put the wheel lock on my trailer and the next morning I pulled out forgetting it was on there. I felt a soft bump and then another and then it dawned on me that it was on there. The first bump was on grass and the second was on asphalt. It took me less then 3 minutes to pry it apart with a screw driver after the key broke off in the lock. Conclusion- I THINK IT WOULD HAVE TOTALLY DISINTEGRATED ID I DROVE ANOTHER 50 FEET. I'm not mad because it was my own damn fault but I'm really glad it didn't damage my trailer! Strictly for show.

With any lock, it is not going to be 100 percent theft proof. Whenever you are looking to secure a trailer, the best strategy is to use multiple locks together like the wheel lock part # 288-02020 along with a coupler lock like part # TMX67FR which fits all three coupler ball sizes. Using multiple locks together will make it unappealing to a would-be thief.

It is still working great! Easy to use and effective deterrent.
This is one heavy duty wheel clamp/boot lock. It appears to be well made of tempered steel and it is easy to install. I purchased this product for my Bass Boat Trailer. Even though I have one of the best Trailer Hitch Ball Locks, I now have a second method of securing my Bass Boat & Trailer while it sits in my driveway. Now, I will rest a little easier knowing that if some low life is contemplating on stealing my boat and trailer from my driveway, he/she is really going to have to really work at it. I'm thinking of getting another on of these wheel clamp/boot locks for the other wheel. I highly recommend this product if you need a wheel clamp/boot lock..it will give you some peace of mind.

Lock was easy to use..took seconds to install on the trailer wheels. Tested and the wheels do not budge.. Highly recommended for personal and light commercial use.
Little disappointed that it will not fit the older drum brake systems with a backing plate. The baking plate interrupts the function of the claw so it will not insert.
Other then that seems like a good product.
We are in Gulf Shores AL. Our tool trailer is at my sister's house in Kansas. There is a lot of theft in this small town. I put this on and haven't had any theft. It's a well made wheel lock.

Very good product! Recommended by our insurance company to receive additional rate discounts. We primarily used a ball hitch lock plus a chain through a tie-down, but this acts as another excellent visual deterrent we won't drive off with! Overall service and delivery was outstanding and The device was of good quality but did not fit my trailer tire as the tire was too wide. I recommend making the size that the device fits more prominent.
After someone attempted to steal my business trailer but failed due to the hitch being locked, they attempted to roll it to the street but gave up as a neighbor spooked them. Found the etrailer wheel lock to be affordable, well designed, easy to operate, and effective. Also added a lug nut lock so the tire cannot be removed.
The website and service was good and the product was shipped within a few days.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective solution for those concerned about vehicle or trailer theft.
