Wiring a trailer doesn’t have to mean splicing or guessing which wire does what. The Hopkins Plug-N-Tow (R) Wiring Harness plugs right in between the existing factory connectors to give you a working 4-flat trailer plug. It’s a clean plug-and-lead setup that keeps the job simple and avoids cutting into any wires.

This harness provides the standard 4-flat trailer output for running lights, left and right turn signals, brake lights, and ground. It’s the basic connection used by most small utility trailers, boat trailers, and cargo carriers, so once it’s installed you’re ready to hook up and go.
Each wire uses standard trailer colors—white for ground, brown for tail lights, yellow for left turn/brake, and green for right turn/brake—so you can test or troubleshoot with a simple circuit tester if needed. The consistent color coding makes it straightforward to confirm every function before towing.
If your vehicle didn’t come with a tow package, this harness has you covered. The built-in converter lets you power trailer lights directly from the existing circuits without adding factory relays or modules. It delivers a reliable signal so your trailer lights respond exactly as they should.
Ratings & Reviews
Fit the vehicle perfect and easy to ins tall.
Part arrived much sooner than expected, Thanks
This product is very good quality. I am very happy with the money spent.
Wire doing fine
Haven't had a chance to connect it yet but appears to be exactly what I need at a fraction of the cost
Worked perfect for a 07 Nissan Frontier.
The website said this would fit my 2008 Nissan Sentra, but when it arrived it was for a Nissan Frontier. I thought perhaps the Sentra and Frontier would have the same connectors for the tail lights allowing it to still work, but they do not. I was able to cut off the vehicle tail light connectors and splice the wires from this trailer harness to the wires for my tail lights, which did work, but it was more work and time involved than anticipated.
Your company is fantastic! Great customer service and it was the exact product we needed! Thank you
I've ordered converters twice from this company. They have very speedy delivery, high quality products, & exceptional customer service. I've learned from experience that if their part doesn't solve my problem, then I've got something else going wrong! They are exceptionally patient & kind!
I have a 06 frontier without a tow package. this harness was supposed to deal with that issue. It did not. There was a problem with the turn signals. I ended up having to take it to the dealer to buy the relay needed for towing. So just beware.
I looked all over where I live for the proper harness for my truck even the dealership didn't have one without cutting the original harness..I found one on their website and called them and got great service. Thanks etrailer.com
Part does not fit a 2006 Nissan Frontier wiring harness.

This harness is designed as a replacement for an already existing 4 pole wiring harness. If the vehicle doesnt have the factory equipped 4 pole connector, youd need to use .
