Today I'll be doing a review of the Camco 120 volt AC line monitor, part number cam55263. It simply plugs into your 110 outlet whether it's in your home, RV, camper, motorhome. See here there's a gauge. When plugged in, you want it to be in the green range. If it's in the red range on either high or low, that can damage sensitive electronics such as computers, air conditioners, basically anything that's plugged into your wall 110 outlet, it can damage. You want to make sure that it's in the green range. This can stay plugged in permanently so you can do a continuous monitoring of make sure you have the right AC voltage coming through. It also works with generators.
You can plug it in; make sure that you're in the right range before you plug your sensitive equipment into it. Other than that, there's not much to it. Let's go over a couple things, how we plug it in and we'll do a quick demo of how it works. This is the type of outlet we would be plugging this into, your standard 110 outlet. Simply plug it in, two prongs. If this generator was running, we would get the gauge to move, tell us what AC voltage it's putting out.
Let's go ahead show you on a household-style receptacle and we'll plug it in and show you how it actually works. We'll go ahead and plug it in to our standard household-style outlet. It looks like we're still in the green range, just at the very upper edge of the green range. With that, that'll conclude our review of the Camco 120 volt AC line monitor, part number cam55263. .

Volt Meter works great. So much better to see what is going on with the trailer at a glance.
I purchased two of these voltage monitors, and they consistently have a 6-8 voltage discrepancy between them. I don't feel that they're reliable and we've moved on to a different product.
AC Voltmeter arrived quickly, several days. Large easy to read movement/dial. I checked the AC Voltmeter against two other Digital voltmeters that I had and the reading at 120VAC was was about 1% difference max, I was very surprised, I expected about 3-5 %. The meter will be used in a camper to determine a brown out, low line condition, that could burn out the AC unit.
I received what I ordered in a timely manner, properly packaged. I will use your Company again.
Not accurate. Says my wall is 121Vac, but multimeter shows 117.7Vac. Not a big deal, but when im trying to be within +-10% so my gear does not suffer which is the whole point of this tool, it fails big time. You had one job!!!! Thumbs down.
