Heavy front loads can make the nose of your vehicle dip and throw off handling. The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs add at least 500 lbs and up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support inside your existing front coil springs. They keep your ride level when pushing a plow or carrying a front-mounted load, improving braking, steering control, and headlight aim while reducing tire wear.
When the road gets rough or the load shifts forward, these air springs absorb the shock that would otherwise hit the frame. Made of durable, elastic polyurethane, they cushion the front suspension under heavy loading and help prevent bottoming out. The added stability keeps your ride smoother and more controlled through bumps and uneven terrain.
Every setup is different, so being able to dial in air pressure matters. With a range from 5 psi to 35 psi, you can manually adjust each side through individual inflation valves to balance off-center loads. This side-to-side tuning helps reduce body roll, evens out load distribution, and keeps the vehicle balanced for better handling and consistent braking.
Everything needed for installation is included—air springs, brackets, hardware, air line tubing, and separate valves for manual inflation. Once installed inside the existing coil springs, the system works with your factory suspension to add support only when you need it. Switches, gauges, compressors, and air tanks are available separately if you want quick in-cab adjustments later on.

Pop all the time. I get about 6 months out of a set before I have to replace them... Good quality, just poor longevity
They seem to be working pretty.Well, the only thing I didn't like about the kit.Is a had to separate fittings did not have a t to tie them in together So I bought.

Went in fairly easy once the springs were removed. Tight fit on the air connector. You must connect the hose BEFORE putting the spring back into the mount as there is not enough room to do it after. So far they work well.

I have a small farm and to commute to the farm I drive about 200 interstate highway miles and 12 miles of bumpy dirt road with somewhat heavy equipment, my front shocks had to be replace twice a year and also right front off road tire on my F-250, after placement of the Firestone air ride helper(self doer, easy no more than an hour of work) my front new off road tires are wearing out like it should be, evenly (no bumps), no more expensive replacement of parts, and when it comes to handling on high speed interstate and city everyday commute, I'm very very satisfied. It also raised the front end of the truck about 1/2 inch, makes it look awesome. From my perspective on this product, no negatives remarks, for me all positive rating, highly recommended.

Easy install just by lifting vehicle to open the springs. It has been a year since I installed them and the performance is awesome. Holds air for months without refilling. inexpensive way to improve handling. They are an amazing addition to a more secure ride.

A little tricky to get inside the spring. Hose clamps made it doable. Would purchase again if I’m in need of replacements. etrailer provided their usual excellent customer service!
Just what I needed for my F250. Easy to install. I needed something to lift the front suspension while not towing or having a heavy load in the bed. Great price.
These air bags came with great instructions and I followed them but I also added a hose clamp over the bag to squeeze them down smaller and I had both bags installed in les than 45 minutes I was greatly pleased with the results. Add another 30 minutes to finish routing my air lines and adding the fittings. Very, very happy with this purchase!! Thanks etrailer for a great price.
Easy installation did not even have to take wheels off race truck by frame the stretched out coil spring slit bag inside of coil hook up airline finished couldn’t be easier
Bags are good quality but the fitting that screws on the airbag the air line hooks to broke so I am unable to use the air lines
