Features to know about

Enhance Your Ride Stability: 1,000-lb Capacity Air Helper Springs

When you're hauling a heavy load, the last thing you want is for your vehicle to feel wobbly or unsteady. The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs are designed to provide up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support to improve your vehicle's handling and overall ride quality. Constructed from durable, molded polyurethane, these air springs fit snugly inside your rear coil spring suspension, effortlessly keeping your vehicle level, even with a full load.

Control Your Load Balance: Dual Air Line Adjustment

Towing or carrying heavy loads with off-center weight distribution? No problem! With the dual air line setup, you can independently adjust the air pressure in each spring, allowing for precise load balancing from side-to-side. This feature is perfect for those DIYers like Bryan, who appreciate the ability to manage air pressure for a stable ride, reducing sway and evenly distributing the load across the vehicle.

Durability Meets Convenience: Schrader Valves and Accessories

Say goodbye to cumbersome setups! Each Air Lift kit comes equipped with simple Schrader valves for manual inflation, heat shields to protect against high temperatures, and all necessary fittings. You can easily access the valves for adjustments as needed, just like John did, who found the setup straightforward even when modifying a Honda Odyssey for his family trips.

Stress-Free Installation: Fits Inside Existing Coil Springs

With a design meant to integrate seamlessly into your existing suspension, this kit installs directly within your vehicle's current rear coil springs. It's as easy as removing your coil spring and inserting the air spring – just like Michael from Michigan, who found the standard tools were all he needed to get the job done without stress.

Optimal Ride Height Maintenance: Adjustable Air Pressure

From level ground to cargo-loaded heights, maintaining your vehicle's ideal ride height is a breeze, thanks to the adjustable air pressure range of 5 psi to 35 psi. This ensures your headlights are aligned correctly, and tire wear is minimized — a feature that Tony G found invaluable for avoiding the bane of bumpy roads.

Lifetime Assurance: 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee and Warranty

Experience peace of mind with every trip knowing that Air Lift stands by their product with a 60-day satisfaction guarantee and a lifetime warranty. Enjoy the freedom to try the springs and if not satisfied, return them for a refund—just what Chris from Georgia found reassuring when looking for the best suspension enhancement for his Honda Odyssey.

  • Air Lift Air Helper Springs Needed For A 2012 Honda Odyssey
Hey Stefan, For a 2012 Honda Odyssey you would need the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60815. These air springs would take the place of your factory bump stops. If you plan on doing the installation yourself then I recommend checking out the video I attached below.

  • How to Check Transmission Fluid After Transmission Cooler Install
The best way to check the vehicle's transmission fluid levels is while the vehicle is warmed up and running. Once you have flushed and installed the new fluid you will want to remain stationary and run back and forth through the gears a few times. The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets part # D13503 will probably add about 1/4 of a quart to the fluid capacity of your transmission's cooling system. You will want to account for this while adding fluid to...

  • Solution for Creaking Suspension After Install of Air Lift Air Bag Kit in 2011 Honda Odyssey
Normally the bags don't make noise if they are rubbing. What is most likely going on is a suspension component is a bit out of alignment and is causing the creaking. The solution for this is to loosen the suspension components you loosened to the install the kit and then torque them down with the the suspension loaded. When you torque the suspension components with the rear of the vehicle jacked up in the air it can bind up some of the components and they'll make some noise. What you...

  • Should The Air Lift Air Helper Springs Have Some Sort Of Spacer When Installed 2012 Honda Odyssey?
There is big misunderstanding on how the air springs which fit inside coil springs like the Air Lit # AL60815 for your 2012 Honda Odyssey work. Many think the air spring inflates vertically like a traditional air spring but on these they actually push out between the coils. This helps to prevent how much the coils compress under load. With the air line running out the bottom of the lower control arm this helps to keep the air spring at the bottom of the control arm keeping it away from...

  • 2017 Honda Odyssey Rear Suspension Enhancement Recommendation
Best solution we have would be rear suspension enhancement for your 2017 Honda Odyssey. We have the Air Lift kit part # AL60815 which basically allows you to add air pressure to increase the suspension support as needed. Or we have the Timbren kit part # THROD2 which is also a fit. This gives you one amount of suspension support that will work well but is not adjustable. Advantage is that you don't have to maintain air pressure or run any air lines.

  • Does Routing of Air Line Point Up or Down When Installing Air Lift kit AL60815
When you install the # AL60815 in your 2007 Honda Odyssey you would want the air line to point down like you referenced. It's hard to see in the install picture that you referenced but it is installed pointing down. You will want to use zip ties to secure the line away from moving or hot parts. If you check out the install video that I attached you see how we installed this kit on a similar Odyssey.

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement/Helper Springs for a 2011 Honda Odyssey
Because of the variety of activities you do with your 2011 Honda Odyssey, from cargo and passengers, to light towing and bike racks, I recommend going with the Air Lift system # AL60815. It will offer some adjustability so you can stiffen the ride when towing or carrying bike racks, or soften it when carrying passengers or nothing at all. Timbren springs will take out the sag but will also make the ride stiff even when nothing is loaded or being towed by the van. I have linked a video...

  • Is There a Way to Avoid Drilling Hole While Installing Air Lift Helper Springs in 2015 Honda Odyssey
Hello John, No there is not a way to avoid drilling a hole for when installing the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60815 on your 2015 Honda Odyssey. The hole is required because otherwise there isn't going to be room for the valve stem on the springs.

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement Options for 2011 Honda Odyssey
We have two rear suspension alternatives for a 2011 Odyssey. The # THROD2 from Timbren which would replace the factory bump stop in the coil spring or the # AL60815 air helper spring from Air Lift which installs inside the coil spring as well, but would work along with the factory bump stop. Either system has their advantages and disadvantages. The correct choice depends on what and how often you tow or haul and whether or not the amount of weight you carry or tow varies. • Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2016 Honda Odyssey
Considering the fact that most of your travel will be with passengers the best choice is the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60815. The ride quality with the Air Lift will be a lot better when compared to the Timbren # THROD2, and your passengers will thank you for it. The air bags will provide you with the support you're looking for while reducing wear on your suspension and tires. • Solution for Reducing Rear Sag on 2012 Honda Odyssey When Towing
Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Systems like the part # THROD2 do a really nice job of providing additional support for heavier cargo or tongue weight from a trailer, however there is still going to be a gap between the spring and contact point when mounted. This simply means that the rear of your Odyssey is still going to drop/sag with the trailer hooked up before the Timbren springs are engaged. The jounce-style springs should provide a bit of a difference in rear sag but they're...

  • Solution for Rear Suspension of 2010 Honda Odyssey That Sags When Trailer Is Hitched
As a starting point, I'd recommend having the rear suspension of your Odyssey examined to make sure everything's in good repair. Both the # CSS-1168R Coil Sumo Springs and the Air Lift # AL60815 will affect your vehicle suspension whether the trailer is hitched or not. Both types of systems can have their drawbacks. High low adapters really aren't ideal for adding ground clearance as they end up cutting the capacity of the hitch they are installed in by 50 percent and they end up adding quite a bit of length to the carrier as well. Best solution would be rear suspension enhancement for your 2010 Honda Odyssey to help reduce sag when carrying the carrier to improve the ground clearance. • Eliminating Rear Suspension Sag of 2011 Acura MDX When Towing
The owner's manual of your 2011 Acura MDX states that 'A weight distributing hitch is not recommended for use with your vehicle, as an improperly adjusted weight distributing hitch may reduce handling, stability, and braking performance.' Given that, I'd use a different method of reducing the rear end sag. Air helper springs such as # AL60815 can be pressurized up to 35 psi when towing to add additional support to the rear suspension, and aired down to a minimum of 5 psi when not towing....

  • Can AirLift 1000 Rear Axle Helper Spring # AL60815 Support Trailer with 600-lbs Tongue Weight
The rear-axle air bag kit you referenced, AirLift 1000 Helper Spring # AL60815, provides up to 1000-lbs of load leveling at its maximum pressure rating of 35-lbs psi. Your trailer with approximately 600-lb tongue weight would certainly fall within the operating range for this product. If you are towing often and frequently have widely varying trailer weights then an adjustable air bag kit like this AirLift 1000 is a good choice for adding rear-end support. If your trailer weight is fairly...

  • Solution for Squeaking Suspension After Air Lift Kit Install on 2012 Honda Odyssey
When we see squeaking suspension components after a suspension kit install what normally causes is this is the torquing of suspension components with the trailer jacked up in the air. That will nothing is bound up and should eliminate the noise.

Since you already have an air bag system # AL60815 installed on the 2008 Honda Odyssey I would just fix the leak and add a compressor, # AL25592. The air bag system will allow you to tweak the ride quality whereas Timbren springs will just be engaged all the time and could cause a stiffer ride. To find the leak you can use soapy water where the air lines and fittings come together. Bubbles indicate a leak.
