Heavy cargo or a loaded trailer can make the back end sag, throwing off balance and handling. The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs provide up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support inside your factory rear coil springs. This extra lift keeps your vehicle level for better steering, braking, and headlight aim while helping your tires wear evenly and easing strain on the stock suspension.
Every load is different, and this setup lets you match your suspension to it. With an adjustable range from 5 psi to 35 psi, you can fine-tune air pressure to keep things level whether you’re hauling gear or driving empty. Inflate each spring independently with dual air lines for side-to-side leveling or run a single line for even pressure. Manual Schrader valves are included, and you can add an optional compressor system later for in-cab control.
Bumps, dips, and uneven pavement can make a loaded ride feel harsh. These molded polyurethane air springs fit neatly inside the rear coils to soak up road shock and cut sway. They help the vehicle feel more stable and planted when towing or carrying heavy cargo so you stay in control through curves and highway ruts alike.
The kit installs inside your existing coil spring suspension using basic tools. It comes with two air springs, two heat shields, air tubing, Schrader valves, and hardware for a complete setup. The process is simple enough for most driveway installations, with clear guidance and only minor drilling needed to mount the inflation valves where you prefer. Once installed, you can adjust pressure anytime to stay level and ready for whatever you haul next.

I have towed my RV several times over the last year and these helper springs work perfectly! I had a very small air leak but I added some silicone at the airline connections and it is 100 percent! I carry a battery powered air compressor with me and it’s basically a “set it and forget it” systems.

Glad they are working well for you, Scott! I gotta ask, did you do the AHC delete as it was worn our or did you just not particularly like it? I've heard people do this for either reason.

The air springs are still operating as well as the day I installed them. They do not leak any air pressure nor have they degraded in any way. What a great and simple solution that lasts.

Well, after going back and forth - basically it comes down to - 60 day drive warranty doesnt compute. So after spending $300 on install, now Im expected to spend another $300-$400 to have them removed to return them, oh and pay for return. So roughly $800 to get back $130. Ill chalk this up to understanding that if a product doesnt work out in any manner. To remove these, you have to take the rearend of the car off - shocks and springs - then try to get the bags out of a much smaller ending without damaging otherwise youll not refund. Basically no support, other than a were sorry.

Best thing I could have bought for the Pilot for carrying occasional loads when the need arises. When the Air Lifts are not in use, I can deflate them to the recommended stand by pressure of 5psi, and enjoy the smooth stock ride with the stock rear springs. Putting a higher pound rated rear spring is not an option since my load carrying is few and inbetween. Besides a higher spring rate is not available for my Pilot. The Air Lifts are still holding up well after a year of use.
