ARC 3117W Eco 1157 LED Bulb Dimensions

Raw Lumens vs. Effective Lumens vs Stable Lumens

Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 645 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 600 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 487 lumens.

These bulbs are much brighter than the ones I replaced. I wanted something brighter due to safety concerns and these seem to do the trick.

On 18 October 2021, I purchased 2 packs of model 1157 LED bulbs (ARC93FR). As soon as they arrived, I replaced the existing incandescent brake/turn signal bulbs on my Coachmen travel trailer with these LED bulbs. When I hooked up the travel trailer to my truck and turned on the lights, the improvement was quite noticeable. The ARC93FR LEDs were much brighter – even in the afternoon sunlight. Quite pleased. Money well spent. Another great product from etrailer.com.

I purchased trailer lighting for my flatbed trailer. Very satisfied with the parts and the service I received. Will use you again when the need arises.

by:

Easy to install and LED brightness is amazing. Hoping it would last. e-trailer is awesome

I bought these to upgrade my rear tailights/turnsignals to LED. They are a direct replacement meaning they fit into the socket properly. However, there isn't enough load in these bulbs to have the turn signals work properly. Apparently, another electrical part must be needed for these bulbs to flash properly as turn signals. Keeping the bulbs since it's not cost effective to return.

by:

The last bulbs converted to LED. The stove light is so handy in my trailer but it was more wattage than i wanted to burn. These bulbs are brighter, longer life and importantly, less wattage.

by:

The led lights are still working. The problematic fuse in the car has not blown so switching from incandescent to led has been worth the cost.

by:

Great service evrrytime we order from t railer

by:

I’m not sure if it will fit my camper range hood light socket but will try it in the spring

by:

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. They arrived yesterday and I put them in. Wow, what a difference. Way better light output, much less battery power being used. All for a fraction of the cost. And the quality of the bulbs was all I had hoped it would be. I was talking to one of my neighbors about your web site and it turns out he has been an etrailer.com customer for a while. Thank you for what you do.

by:

Probably a great product but it is NOT a 194 bulb. Base is correct but too tall for marker light applications

by:

I can’t believe how much better these lights are from my old ones
One of the best things I’ve ever bought,

by:

These bulbs work fine. They're a direct replacement for stock and are brighter than stock bulbs.

  • Is The ARC 93FR A Direct Replacement For the 1157 Bulb
According to ARC, the manufacturer, their # ARC93FR LED bulb is the proper replacement for a dual filament 1157 taillight bulb which provides the turn signal, taillight and brake lamp.

  • Bargman Incandescent - LED Replacement Bulb Possible?
The Bargman 8.5" x 4.5" size is fairly common in trailer tail lights. It uses an 1157 bulb, which we do carry in many LED configurations, such as the # ARC93FR. Replacing the bulb in your current tail light should give you the good results you seek without needing to change out the entire light fixture.

  • Troubleshooting Lighting Issues After Switching From Incandescent To LED Bulbs
The issue you are describing sounds like a ground issue. We would definitely want to eliminate the possibility of a weak/bad ground. Although it is odd that everything did work prior to you changing the bulbs. The LED bulbs are pulling way less power so generally that would not cause any issues. The best thing to do will be to check your ground. Make sure everything is grounded to goo clean metal free of any paint or corrosion. You could also try replacing a few of the LED's with incandescent...

  • Converting to LED Lights on 2016 Dutchmen Aspen Trail Travel Trailer
Converting to LED lights on your Dutchmen Aspen Trail TT won't cause you an issue, especially since you're planning to switch all of them. If you know the bulb type you can replace them with LED bulbs like the # ARC93FR you were looking at. Make sure to match the bulb type and also match the color of the bulb to the color of the lens. If bulbs aren't available, you can replace the entire light with an LED light like the # RVSTLB60 I have attached links below to all of our LED replacement...

  • Do I Need Resistors With Replacement Bulbs, # ARC48FR or # ARC93FR
If you are putting installing the 1157 LED Bulbs - 360 Degree - Double Contact Bayonet - 600 Lumens - White - Qty 2, part # ARC93FR, on your trailer, you will not need to add a resistor. Unfortunately, these bulbs are not compatible with your 2004 Honda Element. I do not think you will need a resistor when you add LEDs to your vehicle. I recommend the 921 LED Bulbs - 360 Degree - Wedge Base - 600 Lumens - White - Qty 2, part # ARC48FR. These bulbs are comparable to the bulbs you attached...

  • Are There License Plate Lamps For a Winnebago Profile View on a Mercedes Sprinter Chassis
We do not have license plate lamps specific to your 2010 Winnebago Profile View on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Chassis. We do have some light bulbs like the 1157 LED Bulbs # ARC93FR which fit your View and work for lights such as back-up, interior, or courtesy lights. But, not any that mention the license plate lamps. We also have lights for license plates, like the Mini LED Trailer License Plate Light # OPT77FR or Optronics LED Trailer License Plate Light w/ Bracket # LPL55CB. But, they are...

  • Can The Light Bulb Be Replaced In A Roadmaster Tow Dolly Tail Light
Hey Mark, I took the Replacement Passenger's-Side Stop/Turn/Tail Light for Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-300220-30 apart and found that it uses a 1157 bulb type. If you want to stick with incandescent you can use part # A1157B or you can upgrade to LED's with part # ARC93FR. LED's will provide a much brighter light while using considerably less energy. They're also more shock absorbent than incandescent bulbs so they're less likely to break while travelling over bumps in the road.

  • Replacement Options For LED Trailer Lights On A 2000 Nitro Bass Boat Trailer
The part number you gave me just comes back to the lens of the light, which is used on multiple models, like the # 403026 so I don't know the exact light bulbs used in your trailer lights. That being said you could pull the bulbs to see what they are and just replacement them with compatible LED versions. For example, both the # 403026 and # 403076 use 1157 and 193 bulbs. You can replace the 1157 bulbs with # ARC93FR and you could most likely find an LED 193 bulb at your local lighting,...
