ARC 3117R Eco 1157 LED Bulb Dimensions

Raw Lumens vs. Effective Lumens vs Stable Lumens

Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 600 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 199 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 75 lumens.

I purchased these to replace my existing light bulbs and they didn't work as a replacement

by:
2016 Jeep Wrangler

by:
1991 Ford F-53

turned out to be brighter than I expect ed.

by:

I bought these to upgrade my rear tailights/turnsignals to LED. They are a direct replacement meaning they fit into the socket properly. However, there isn't enough load in these bulbs to have the turn signals work properly. Apparently, another electrical part must be needed for these bulbs to flash properly as turn signals. Keeping the bulbs since it's not cost effective to return.

by:

The last bulbs converted to LED. The stove light is so handy in my trailer but it was more wattage than i wanted to burn. These bulbs are brighter, longer life and importantly, less wattage.

by:

The led lights are still working. The problematic fuse in the car has not blown so switching from incandescent to led has been worth the cost.

by:

I’m not sure if it will fit my camper range hood light socket but will try it in the spring

by:

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. They arrived yesterday and I put them in. Wow, what a difference. Way better light output, much less battery power being used. All for a fraction of the cost. And the quality of the bulbs was all I had hoped it would be. I was talking to one of my neighbors about your web site and it turns out he has been an etrailer.com customer for a while. Thank you for what you do.

by:

Probably a great product but it is NOT a 194 bulb. Base is correct but too tall for marker light applications

by:

I can’t believe how much better these lights are from my old ones
One of the best things I’ve ever bought,

by:

These bulbs work fine. They're a direct replacement for stock and are brighter than stock bulbs.

by:

Unusable. Too hot

by:

Directly replaces the old 12V bulbs. Very easy upgrade. More light and less heat. This is also a safer alternative.

by:

The products are great, but you need to improve your web site. Just make it easier to use for individual vehicles.

by:

Perfect and easy upgrade for my John Deere E100 headlights.

by:

Thank you for your great service and quick delivery!

by:

I was very pleased with the cost and the product for the part that I ordered

by:

Products work great.

by:

great bulbs, very bright, still going s trong

by:

Quick shipping

by:

Works perfectly

by:

This LED replacement completely changed the lighting in my RV for the better. I put them in the main living area and work area and you no longer feel like you are living by flashlight. The only drawback to the replacement bulb is it is slightly wider than glass bulbs and it takes significantly more pressure to insert them. However, they will go in without breaking the fixture. The picture shows the clear difference with both type bulbs in a single fixture.

by:

They cool bright red and white tailback light wow happy that

by:

Fit into the old Peterson PM 306-25A socket perfectly, replacing a 2057 incandescent bulb that was there previously (both of the light fixture's dual filaments are wired together to act in tandem, and only as a turn signal - go figure - but perhaps to be marginally brighter together). LED bulb is much brighter, and I'll assume lower current draw (did not actually measure this). "Garage test" worked fine, we'll know how they take to moisture and vibration in a few months. It should be noted that despite LED bulbs's reputation for being "directional", this bulb lit up rearward AND to the side satisfactorily. Cannot comment if the difference in brightness between the two "filaments" offers sufficient differentiation between low and high setting in actual use, as mine light up simultaneously, as wired.

by:

These bulbs are much brighter than the ones I replaced. I wanted something brighter due to safety concerns and these seem to do the trick.

  • Troubleshooting Replacement Tail Light Not Lighting Up on Boat Trailer
If you are saying you bought an incandescent replacement and all of your other lights are LED you will want to use an LED to match the other lights. Depending on the type of bulb you may be able to just swap the bulb with one like the # ARC63FR. You would want to match the bulb number and you also want the color to match the color of your lens. The other thing I would check is the ground connection and the wires running to that light. A poor ground connection could be the cause or possibly...

  • Converting Trailer Tail Lights From Incandescent to LED
In order to switch your tail lights from incandescent bulbs to LED you will need to know your current bulb type. For example, if you have an 1157 bulb you can use the 1157 LED Tail Light Bulbs # ARC63FR as a replacement. You will also want to make sure that the bulb color matches the lens on your current fixture or the light will not show through properly. I have attached a link to all of our LED replacement bulbs for you to check out.

  • LED Replacement for CT 1157TW Bulb In RV Tail Lights
I can't speak to the light specifically but we do offer 1157 LED's like the 1157 LED Tail Light Bulbs part # ARC63FR. Please note, you must use an LED that is the same color as the lens in order for the color to show properly, if you simply use a white bulb under a red lens it will appear pink. If a new bulb won't work for you then you will need to replace the entire light. I have attached our entire LED selection below.

  • Can 1157 Incandescent Bulbs In a Trailer Tail Light Be Replaced With LEDs
In general, yes, most incandescent bulbs can be swapped out for an LED. In order to do this you need to know the bulb type such as 1157. That said, when replacing incandescents with LEDs you must use the same color bulb as the lens in order for the light to show through properly. For example, if you were replacing a tail light bulb behind a red lens then you would need to use part # ARC63FR.

  • LED Replacement Light for 4 Inch Round Trailer Tail Light
I have a solution for you. We don't have any LED lights that are a fit for the inside of that 4 inch cylinder. All of our LED options are linked and they are slightly bigger. What you can do is use an LED bulb in an incandescent fixture. For example, the Peterson Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Turn, Tail - Incandescent - Round - Red Lens - Passenger Side # 431800 in the attached video (with the 4 inch round tube) uses 1157 bulb so you can use # ARC63FR for an LED.

  • Can Trailer Taillight RVSTB60 be Converted to LED
The Optronics trailer taillight part # RVSTB60 that you referenced uses a 1157 bulb so for an easy way to convert it to LED you could just swap the bulb for an LED version like the # ARC63FR for a set of two. These are red which is the correct color. When going to an LED light you have to match the color of the light to the lens color otherwise the red will look like pink.
