Notes:
Start your engine easier and warm your cab faster in cold weather with this frost-plug-style engine block heater. Heating your engine coolant keeps it from thickening and freezing, resulting in more reliable start-ups and smoother operation altogether. It also lessens the workload and extends the life of your vehicle's battery. And because starting your engine when it's warm creates less condensation in the engine block than starting it when it's cold, your engine will get better initial fuel vaporization, which causes fewer emissions and less pollution.
This frost-plug heater replaces the core plug in your engine block. The power cord on the heater is removable so that you won't need to buy a whole new heater if the cord gets damaged. The cord can be routed through your grille for easy access to a 120-volt outlet or extension cord. If needed, a longer or shorter cord (sold separately) can be purchased to better fit your application. Make sure the heating element is fully submerged in the coolant before plugging it in.

Hello, neighbors. I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a Kats heaters. It's a custom engine block heater for the frost plug connection style, and it's a 38 millimeter. Now, folks, this does fit a couple applications from '04, all the way up to '08, including the Chrysler, Dodge and Freightliners with the diesel engines and also the Chrysler Crossfire 3.2 liter V6 engine. Now, that being said, please ensure you're double-checking the fit with our fit guide.
Go to the homepage here at etrailer.com. Top center of that page, there's a spot that says vehicle information. Enter your year, make a model and make sure you're getting the right parts for your specific vehicle. Now, folks, this does ensure a smoother startup and a much faster heating and defrosting of your cab by simply replacing the frost plug or the core plug in your engine block, and this will submerge in the coolant, and then it's gonna warm the engine fluid to increase lubrication and performance. So you're getting the ring here.
You're getting the five-foot plug. That five-foot plug is actually replaceable as well, and you get, again, the 38-millimeter connection style heater. So you can see that little heating element in there. Again, this plugs in. It installs in there.
You got the ring included. Very simple operation, very simple design. Now, this, again, will preheat the engine and reduce condensation in your engine block. It's gonna also emit less pollution and fewer gas emissions. It's gonna include, again, that power cord and that ring.
It does route through your grill and simply plugs into a standard 120-volt AC outlet, and everything here is constructed of the brass here. So it's gonna be corrosion resistant. It is custom fit for the vehicles I mentioned before. It's CSA approved and made here in the USA. Now, folks, I wanna point out, do not use this heater with a 100% anti-freeze solution and also never start your engine with the heater still plugged in. Now, it's got 400 watts rating and a 3.3 amp rating. It's a nice one-year warranty and like I said, made here in the US. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our Kats custom heater engine block heater. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching. Stay safe.
Thank you!
