Whether you have open side pockets or pop-out caps, it only takes a few seconds to install these BullRing anchors. All you have to do is pop the caps off using a flat head screwdriver, insert the anchors into the side wall pockets, and tighten them down with a Phillips head screwdriver.

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the BullRing Tie-Down Anchor Points on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. So adding tie-down points to the back of your bed is gonna allow you to be able to secure your load when you're going down the road. This particular vehicle already has some from the factory, but it's always a good idea to have additional tie-down points. And you're gonna pop out your rubber knockouts and just replace them with these guys here. They slide right in, and they're secured using a Phillips head screwdriver. So let me show you how easily you can install them.
So we're gonna remove our pop out using a panel removal tool. I mean, you can use a screwdriver, but this is gonna help protect your paint a lot better, versus potentially scratching your finish. And they pop right off. You're just gonna take your fill screwdriver and back your screw off a little bit to let the plate have enough room to fit between the space between the metal of the bed. We're gonna work our plate into place, and we're gonna fasten it down using our Phillips screwdriver.
And now we have it fastened in. It's nice and secure, and it's ready for us to use our tie-down straps, so our bungee cords or whatever. This has been a look at the BullRing Flush-Mounted Anchor Points on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500.

Haven't had reason to use them yet but they look like they would spread a load over more sheet metal than the OE tie-downs
I can see a use for a straight angle as an option. I frequently keep a strap running between the two points closest to the tailgate just to keep smaller loads from sliding out of reach. Straight loops would not apply a torque to the bedside when loaded that way.
Easy to install, but watch the 2 1/2 minute video on u-tube. I started off wrong, but the video showed me where I ran off the tracks.
Watched a video on how to install them and it was fairly easy once I figured out much to unscrew them for slack and the best angle to get inner anchor plate to catch. Overall simple and only took a couple minutes for each one. I would have given 5 stars if they were locking. However, in their defense, I couldn't find any on the market that did lock.
I’ve just installed these anchors and have not used them yet. The installation was straight forward, taking only 15 minutes to install all 9.
Removing the screw first, makes the installation a snap.
The anchors are of good quality and once I have a chance to use them I may be able to boost the rating to 5 stars.

Great product,the only thing is in the video,the installer says don't remove the screw,well I listened to him and fought with it for a bit,so I removed the screw and the tie down just wiggled right in,put the screw back in and no problems
