Video Transcript for Review of TowSmart Trailer Wiring - 7 Pole RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket - TS34RR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this TowSmart 7-Pole RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket. Now, this vehicle-end 7-blade connector is going to give you a clean, secure hookup point for trailer lights, electric brakes, and auxiliary power. This is going to mount to your bumper or a bracket, and then that spring-loaded lid is going to keep debris out of the socket in between trips so you're not gonna have to worry about that socket easily becoming dirty. And this has a very durable, hard plastic weather-resistant body, and corrosion-resistant terminals are gonna help keep your connection solid season after season. In case you we inchesre wondering, lemme just see if I can give you some rough measurements here.

So, looking at the overall length, we're sitting right at about almost 4 1/2 inches. The overall width looks like about 2 3/4 inches, and then maybe the height here, looks like it's close to 2 1/2, 2 3/4, about there. So, I think this is gonna be a pretty easy install. And if you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to give us a call. You can give us a call, send us an email, or start a chat with us.

We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.

  • Recommended 7-Way Connector Extension for an Extended Ball Mount
Hey Todd. The best way to extend your 7-way connector is to use the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension item # TLW6021. This is essentially an extension cord for your vehicle's 7-way connector. It measures 24" long. Or you can purchase the 6' Long 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector item # H20044 and the 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket item # TS34RR and make one however long you need to. What kind of trailer do you have?
