This winch was made to handle your 20' boat. It's rated at 3,800 lbs and offers 2 cranking speeds so you can get the torque you need to manuever your boat onto the trailer. The zinc plating makes it resistant to corrosion.
Note: Straps and cables are not included.
This winch has a low-speed option and a high-speed option. You can shift between the two by attaching the handle to the two input shafts. Quickly take up the slack with the high-speed mode, then shift to low speed to get more pulling power and manuever your boat into place.
The slotted screw holes on the winch give you lots of leeway for where and how you can mount it. It's easy to replace your old hand winch, even if it's from a different brand like Fulton or Dutton-Lainson.
This steel winch is zinc plated to prevent rust and corrosion. It will have no problem handling water.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Thanks for joining me with a look together at our CURT two-speed boat trailer winch. Now this is a 3,800 pound capacity. As you can see, it's got a beautiful zinc finish, so it's gonna be rated for water. It's very rust-resistant and corrosion-resistant as well.
Now I wanna point out you're not gonna get any cable or strap included, and that's just standard with every winch out there, mainly, especially for boat trailers and stuff. So this is a nice heavy duty. Again, rated at 3,800 pounds. This would be perfect for boats that are about 20 foot long or bigger. It's a very smooth operation.
It has pre-greased bushings and greasable bushings, and that's gonna let these gears spin really easy. The handle's very easy to put on everything. It has a nice little kind of spring-loaded hookup here. And I'm gonna go ahead and I'm gonna put that on just a little bit, just so I can kind of show you the operation. As you can see, it's reversible.
See if we move the lever here to change directions. And as with most winches, it is a universal mount. And what I mean by that is you have these slots or elongated holes. That way you can move this around to fit different options and everything like that as far as where and how to mount it. Now again, it's a two-speed.
It's a quick pick on the slack, and then you get that torque you need to hoist the heavy load. So very nice operation, very easy to use. So as you can see, the bigger you're here is gonna give you that faster. And then again, if you need to swap to the low gear, you simply push the spring loaded attachment here, swap it over, and then you're set up for the high, the high torque there to finish getting it up onto the boat trailer. Well, folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. This, again, has been our look at the CURT two-speed boat trailer winch, zinc-plated, rated at 3,800 pounds. As always, we welcome any feedback, photos of it in use. We'd love to hear what you're doing with it and how you're using it. Have a good one.
