how do you compare this winch to the f2 heavy winch? $195/$209?

Hello Rod, thanks for reaching out. Both the Winches you mentioned, the Curt 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch # C45ZJ and the Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed, 2-Speed Trailer Winch # FW32000101 are solid options. The Curt is rated for 3,800 lbs while the Fulton is rated for 3,200. The gear ratios are about the same. The big advantage of the Fulton jack is that it is fully enclosed. This will keep the strap and all of the internal parts better protected from the elements. If you are using the jack on a boat trailer, or other trailer where it will be exposed to the elements, I recommend the Fulton. If it will be out of the elements the Curt jack will do fine. The Curt will also be the better option if you need the higher capacity. As far as overall quality I do have to give the edge to Fulton.
