Optronics ST36RB Waterproof Combination Tail Light Dimensions

Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.

Combination Lights for Trailers Over 80" Wide

Flatbed trailer over 80" wide with combination tail lights

If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.

To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.

  • Tail Lights that Plug In Instead of bare Wires for Trailstar Boat Trailer
We do have the Optronics ST37 series lights that have the connector instead of bare wires. Aero Pro light # ST37RPG has the plug but just for the running lights, brake, and turn signal wires. The ground is separate. The matching right hand side is # ST36RPG. We also have similar lights for Wesbar, # 271595 and # 271594. I have included some links to video reviews of these light style for you.

  • Replacement Trailer Light for a 2006 Tracker Boat Trailer with the Optronics ST-36 RH Tail Light
The light on your Tracker boat trailer is the right hand ST36 series trailer light from Optronics as is the # ST36RB, that you referenced on our website. They are essentially the same light, but Optronics has been known to make slight changes to their lights from time to time. I have attached a diagram of this light showing its dimensions for you to check out. The dimensions should not be much different from your light if at all, but the important dimensions to look at are the 2 inch...

  • Replacement Tail Lights for Tracker Boat Trailer Model # T13PRO175P
Although we don't have specifics about the specific trailer you have, we absolutely have submersible trailer light replacement lenses that will work for you. From what I can find about similar Tracker boat trailers you may have lights similar to the # ST37RB (drivers) and # ST36RB (passenger) currently, so you can use the # A39RB (front lens) and # A36RB (side lens) as the replacement. If you can send in a photo of the lights and their measurements we can absolutely confirm these will...

  • Replacement Trailer Taillight Lens for SAE STIAP204DOT
The SAE STIAP2 04 DOT number you provided is a DOT approval number, which states that the lens is compliant with DOT regulations. Because of that, that number isn't typically a good identifier for finding a replacement lens. However, in this case, we previously had a customer send in a photo of this particular lens which we managed to match up to the Optronics part # A39RB which is a replacement for their # ST36RB and # ST37RB taillights or a Wesbar 3571.

  • How to Determine Correct Replacement Trailer Light Lens or Replacement Light
The "SAE" on a trailer light isn't actually a part number, it stands for Society of Automotive Engineers and just means it has passed certain testing. The only way to determine the correct replacement lens is with the actual part number of the light, though unfortunately those aren't always readily visible. For example, for parts # ST36RB or # ST37RB you would need the Replacement Tail Light Lens for Optronics ST36RB and ST37RB # A39RB. Without knowing the part number of your light, the...

  • Replacing a 4-Way Connector with 7 Wires on a 2007 Tracker Trailstar Boat Trailer
Since this is on a boat trailer the 2 additional white ground wires are ground for the lights. This is fairly common on aluminum frames and boat trailers in general because aluminum is a poor metal for grounds and lights grounded near the tail lights will get dunked in water. The 2 brown wires are both running light wires which allows you to run one wire per side instead of having to run a jumper wire from one side of the trailer to the other. You can still use a 4-Way with wiring such...

It sounds like you want to use the Miro-Flex LED Combination Trailer Tail Light - 8 Function - Submersible - 18 Diodes - Driver Side # STL27RB and Passenger Side # STL26RB as replacements for your current lights. That is perfectly fine, and the wires should match up. These are, however, a little longer and shorter when compared to your current lights. • How to Find Light Part Number on Four Winns Boat Trailer
Trailer makers don't usually keep track of the brand/model of lights used in trailer production and the numbers you took from your light's broken lens are not part numbers, but rather DOT coding. The light's base is likely to have the part number printed on it so you can check there for a brand and/or part reference. Once you find that you can type it into our search box.
