Today we're going to be taking a look at part number SW2227A. This is the Superwinch Pulley Block with the included hook. It's made from a steal construction. It's going to have a capacity of 8,000 pounds. Pulley blocks are going to have many uses with electric winches. They can be used to move an anchor point, keeping a winch wire rope coming straight out of the winch.
Now when used correctly, a pulley block can actually double the pulling capacity of your winch. This is designed to fit Superwinch models with a 5/32-inch to 7/32-inch wire rope. Very simple when it comes to catching it. All you got to do is pull the clip and pin, place your wire rope through this area here, place it back over the hook, and then re-install the pin, securing it with the clip on the other side. Now when it comes to the actual hook, one of the nice features of it is that we're going to have the spring-loaded safety latch. That's going to prevent accidental disconnecting.
